But Tammie Wilson is the Queen of Salvage in _airbanks ....and she is only good for one each......... no 3 for $5 or 7 for $10......... no respect for the Queen.......... Dude I would have dropped a yard on that "fund raiser".

Because rumors are fun, the latest one in Juneau regarding athletics is to divide the two programs, most notably giving us hockey and you basketball.

Granted that ignores NCAA sport sponsorship requirements, but hey, it's Juneau and it's February.

I have heard that too.
Something like Mens & Womens BBall, Volleyball, Gymnastics, Track to UAA and Hockey, Rifle, Swimming, XC Ski to UAF. Making the case that it is one University for Title IX purposes. What’s a SeaNook?

The WCHA declaration said if the Seawolves are dissolved the Nanooks will be released from the league to make room for Arizona State.

Dissolving Seawolve hockey would be pretty harsh.
Think of all the disappointed fans…those seven folks would be devastated.

This all started with free picking at the dump.

The small village mentality of _airbanks that the dump is just your personal warehouse of crap. So as stated in assembly meetings that 80% of the people brag about their found treasures and the other 20 just don’t talk. So like minds start their own mini Dumpett’s of 1 -2 acre lots and start stacking crap around the Quonset hut. They all look up to the Rep. Tammie Wilson and as loyal Queen of Salvage and vote her in position of power and word on the street one of her kids a product of the “Failure Factory High schools” didn’t cut mustard at Nanookville so it’s paybacks for all.

Somebody with better photoshop skills than me should be able to do a nice mock up of a half Nook, half Spirit the Seawolf. Eeesh!

The University Subcommittee met and began their deliberation with proposing to fully fund Student Instruction which contains athletics. I believe that the first priority of the State is to offset tuition costs for our students. We have asked for the list of research projects with the required general fund match. When we have obtained the necessary information we will meet and determine what other funds should be added to the initial $288 million (General Funds).



Thank you for your email and weighing in on this important issue.

Yeah this has seemed like a specific target at UAF's research funding. Given her district and party affiliation methinks her political donors may have issues with UAF's research and findings regarding climate change and the Arctic...
