Article I read said 10pm Statewide.Anyone know if GCI is airing the game live for the Anchorage area? It is listed at 10 pm, but I seem to remember they listed it that way last season, but it was on earlier for us, and delayed in _airbanks.
Putting the hate aside for a moment:
There will be two auctions going on at the Carlson Center this weekend during the first two games of the Alaska Airlines Governor’s Cup Series between the Alaska Nanooks and University of Alaska Anchorage hockey teams.
There will be more than 90 items in a silent auction to benefit Alaska Nanooks sophomore defenseman Justin Woods. Justin is sidelined with Ewing's Sarcoma.
There is a Facebook group here > https://www.facebook.com/pages/Silent-AuctionFundraiser-for-Justin-Woods/309779169231134?ref=br_tf
Photos of all of the items. There are artist used guitars, several signed jerseys from NHL teams and players (both UAA and UAF alums), a shoe worn by Shaq in one of the NBA championship games and signed (freakin' huge), as well as several gift cards for various restaurants and businesses around the state.
Justin has been in constant care at the Seattle Children's Hospital. As you can imagine, treatments and everything has amassed a large financial burden on his family. Thanks in advance to everyone who can help out and enjoy some of these items and supporting a good kid and a great family.

There are some excellent items there. I hope it is very successful. Sure wish that Cap's jersey was Beagles!
If you where like my cousin you would own one of his 4 collage sweaters .
We need to foil up and Ohio State the nooks this weekend . Also you will meet new friends at the beach and the bud they are talking about is not "Bud Lite'.UAA, starting next weekend y'all need to get your **** together and climb to 9th place by season's end. If we both sit out the playoffs this year some of these other knuckleheads from the flyover states will never stop crowing about how great an Alaska-free playoff was.
As for this weekend, I will be watching online with the waves of the Pacific and palm trees swaying in the background. Go 'Nooks, and bring the pain cave this weekend. With warmest aloha.
#3 or #27 maybe, I believe. He was just fine after they made sure the Nook got ejected. What did the asst. UA_ coach do to get the bench minor penalty? I saw water bottles on the ice, did he pull a Shyiak and throw the first one? Way to goon it up UA_. Can't believe that 2nd goal was waived off. Heck, even Bruce and Erik said UAA got shafted.
Who was the UAA player on the ice in the corner, he got checked from behind. The trainer was down there with him for quite a while, but I couldn't see who he was.
Apparently UAA can't hack it when they play with the big boys. Assuming the Seapups must all be majoring in drama and theatre cause they sure had the refs believing their acting. Sure some of the hits were a bit tough but there were plenty of hits the Nooks took that could have gone the same way if they would have dropped to the ice. It was amazing how the "injured" seapup popped up and skated just fine after being looked at and the penalties were called. Hope to see Jones in net tomorrow and hope the Nooks can try and dumb down their game to play at a level that won't cost them the game because some pup got a boo-boo.

Would you like some cheese with your whine?
They must all get A's in their acting classes too if they've got you fooled.Unlike some teams, UAA has NEVER been a team to lay on the ice and fake an injury. I saw him on the ice with the trainer for quite some time. But thanks for letting me know he's ok, that is the important thing.
Ask your team how that sore winning taste feels in their mouth. Acting so high and mighty, but I would too after the losing streak they were on...
