Sorry Suze, but to the non-UAA fans in the league Clark is nothing more than an annoying diver/chirper. Even MEg is in agreement there, and she loves the Seawolves more than any Tech fan probably ever will (or should :p).

That said, he is effective - I'll give him that. If he'd shut his trap and focus on playing hockey, he might have more points. ;)

I have no idea what this hit looked like, but I've seen Lucia act like an undisciplined idiot. He has his moments.

Clark just knows how to get into his opponents heads. He's usually the smallest guy on the ice so he has to do what he can to get any kind of edge.

I'm sorry but contact to the head makes it a little more than incidental contact. And before you say it, Grant was looking up because he had just shot the puck.

The ability to evacuate $20 bills from ones colon instead of hideous intestinal sculpture. Now there is a trick. Sounds like a government program. On to the series. First matchup in Anchorage. Take the 4 points and run. It was as choppy, boring, trapping, and energyless hockey as I even want to imagine. And in front of throngs of Seawolves faithfull that approached a thousand or so. Obviously, it will be a different energy at the NHC. Still, SCSU needs to play focussed, tenatious hockey. Anything less allows AA a shot to swipe a game as they have from many good teams this year. Also, it is a big Friday for Dunn. He has had 4 poor periods in his last 6. To his credit, he is still winning.

Are Suze and DTP coming to the concrete center? Anyone from Alaska, or only the parents of guys from Minnesota?

SCSU let a point or two get away from them out in Colorado Springs. Four points is definitely needed in this series. I think if they play hard and smart they should be able to sweep. Of course, a lackluster effort, and we'll have lost a few more points.

Ummm no. Watch it again. What you are saying couldn't be farther from the truth. Grant was coming in for a scoring attempt, he had just shot the puck, and Lucia lined him up and side swiped him, hitting him in the head and taking out his right knee. The league is supposed to be taking a look at it.

Tony Lucia is chippy, if not at times a cheapshot. No doubt. Hope the hit is being reviewed.

I dissagree Lucia is a dirty player who loves to get under players skin. In my opinion that is a good thing and I would take Tony Lucia on my team any day. Every team needs one or two guys like him.

While he does have "some" skill? LOL. He has 14 goals on the year, had a hat trick, (actually four goals and 2 assists) against Tech, and was brilliant Saturday against the Gophers.

He passed the puck blindly between his legs to Josh Lunden, who put it in the net, then got a short handed goal when he took the puck, literally, the entire length of the ice. He got around one Gopher by hitting the puck off the boards to get his own pass, and deked to other Gophers before backhanding it over Kangas shoulder. Pure skill.

Didn't mean for it to come across like that. :o When I say a player has "some skill" it's just saying that he isn't an orange cone, or simply average.

Not really related to anything, but the latest on Punxsutawney Phil....... He was delicious. So we have 6 more hours of indigestion.
