I posted on that facebook announcement... Pre-empting perhaps the most important 2 game series of interstate rivals in D1 Hockey in at least 10 years, for a Western Conference High School BB tourney? Barrow, Nome, Bethel and Kotzebue. I'm sure the advertising dollars are rolling in.

GCI, once again, you disappoint the biggest metropolitan areas of the state.... And Fairbanks.. :O)

Well, IF I can believe what GCI just told me, they said that the game isn't sold out (because they have not been notified by UA_ that it has been sold out). They said if the game were sold out then it would be airing on TV. Again, I don't really buy that story.

I don't think that attendance is the issue, if that was the case then they wouldn't have shown it in the past

When dealing with GCI, no matter the department or issue, I've never been able to get a reliable answer. You can usually get an answer but it's a crap shoot whether it is the correct answer.

Yes, so far, 1 outta 3 is working out. Ferris is still ahead 2-1 starting the 3rd, BGSU is up 5-3 starting the 3rd, NMU is up 1-0 after 1, MT and MSU are 0-0 middle of 1.

BGSU wins, Ferris wins(update), NMU is now up 2-0 in the 2nd, MT MSU deadlocked at 0-0 through 1.
