Re: UAA: Exciting Things Ahead!
Donald I wish to thank you for the many thousand of hours of your life you put into your UAAFanblog. Your words……… your blog. Some didn’t like it, some loved it, and some didn’t understand your style and want you to change. I liked it as it was…….. Your style. Thanks Alaska Hockey
I kinda know what kind of time it takes to pull a weekly writing. Never as big, or detailed as Donald did. I did a smerf paper and the fun bucket filled up pretty quick. But never on that level, and never getting hammered by some of the biggest clowns of college hockey. Which I must admit I’ve tossed a pie or three myself. Some people take stuff way to serious.
100% Agree. Who hasn't had an issue with the DD of college hockey at some point?
Hence, my own(UAAFANBLOG...
I know you have always been a staunch support of UAA over the years and have attended endless contests, but most of what I've read in this thread are you tearing apart every move made by UAA. Give these guys a chance. Don't come back at me with your long winded replies, as I don't care, but it's done, so the least you can do be supportive, even if you don't agree with the decisions. UAA formed a committee that they thought would bring in the best Head Coach, the Head Coach hired an assistant who he believed to be a great asset to the team. It's new, it's different, embrace it for a little while. You gave Shyiak quite the benefit of the doubt. We ALL thought he might bring the fire and glory back, but that wasn't the case. He was gone this year regardless of the 'accusations.'
I agree, we need to keep our local boys here, we have one the great ice surfaces in the NWCHA(sans the ageing arena), let's give 'em a chance, if there isn't an improvement after 3 years, time to go, it really couldn't get any worse.)
I'm just happy he roots UAA.
I really don't know what happened between JJ and DD(coincidence, I think not), but whatever, everyone is entitled to their opinion.
There are some real ****** canoes around here, but sometimes, you have to stoop to their level for them to even slightly understand the point.
I gotta say, we have a very knowledgeable core of UAA fans....
So, show your colors, be proud of them, and continue on...
It's a Great Day to Be Seawolf!!
