I have. Essentially it is to see who a goal should go to. Also, it's important because you have to reset the time from when the original goal would have been scored.

UAA thought they scored, DU went the other way and scored. Refs went over and reviewed UAA shot, ruled "No Goal" and DU won. Donald blew a gasket and there was some talk that the WCHA apologized to UAA, but that was never confirmed.
You could have a goal that wasn't signaled by the ref, the play continues and one team or the other scores. Happened with DU & UAA in Overtime the first year that the WCHA experimented with replay at DU & CC.

Yeah, I understand that. But what Rycroft was saying is they were reviewing Joey Leggs' earlier shot that hit the pipe, and whether it should be a goal or not. That's the shot that wound up coming over to Zajac, which he then put in the net.

Luckily thats been rectified. Best part of joining the NCHC may be leaving Donald behind.

Ahh. That might be the basis of his frequently uttered claim that the referees deliberately screw them. I can see how they'd want to screw Donald, but not the team.

This is good practice for me. I leave for Las Vegas in five hours for the WAC basketball Tournament. Somebody tell Chancellor Coombe that Boone & his assistant are heading to Vegas after Finals and would like to get a photo with him in Las Vegas.
DU's first game will be on Thursday against the winner of the #7/#10 seed game.

Not much else to talk about. No other games going. And, we're playing Anchorage who will likely still finish last in the new WCHA. I bet they're thanking God right now that they have Huntsville.
