Really? I see plenty of other teams doing it as well. North Dakota being a prime example.

Just calling a spade a spade. During the course of a season of banter with other fan bases, it's pretty rare when a discussion of the refs come up. Sans the UAA contingent. Wouldn't matter to you if it were the case or not. It isn't the case of course. Refereeing is an integral part of every team sport and as such it's an issue that is valid for discussion. You see another fan from an opposition team even frigging type the word "referee" and you're hitting reply to call them a whiner. Nothing new. It's about all you contribute to this board ... "TODD". You must really hate your parents huh?

jimjam, I know Gwoz says it is harder to get to Houghton than Anchorage. Don't know about anybody else, but it seems like DU-UAA play tough, tight series no matter where we play.

Key difference: Houghton has a bar that everybody hangs out in, Anchorage could care less.

WCHA reffing sucks. but not as much as the CCHA. or Atlantic Hockey. ick.

DU probably flies direct to Anchorage. can't do that to Houghton.
