UAA at Denver - Friday 11/21/11

Re: UAA at Denver - Friday 11/21/11

John Lee said Jay Z is a tough kid and will be back in the 2nd, we'll see.

Re: UAA at Denver - Friday 11/21/11

Mostly a good period for UAA despite the quick goal and Grant's CFB. Didn't look like much of a hit. I can see making the call but giving a major there is pretty questionable.

The Seawolves killed off the earlier piower play not allowing a DU shot and getting one shorthanded. Killing off this upcoming 5 at the beginning of the 2nd is going to require lots of energy and hard work. They look like they have the legs for it ... I think.

Re: UAA at Denver - Friday 11/21/11

Are you suggesting Shawn Ostrow turned to draw the penalty? Come on. Grant drilled him in the back. Shyiak didn't even say a word. Checking from behind is no joke.

Yes I am suggesting because that's what happened. He didn 't drill him, he hit him.

The rule is a joke because of the way it is enforced. The 5 minute major and game misconduct is a big carrot to try to turn and draw the penalty. It's having the opposite effect, it's leading to players putting themselves in dangerous positions and getting hurt.

Whinnnnnne. Have a little self respect UAA fans. Man up. Close call. Bad call. Who cares? These things have a way of balancing out.
BTW, does the name Jesse Martin ring a bell?

Look in the mirror jackson.

I'll give 100 dollars to your favorite charity if you can find a post where I've whined about a call. You guys do it constantly. Don't deny it. You've worked very hard and gotten yourself to the top of the heep. You're recognized throughout the conference as the biggest whiners, maybe of all time. Why if it weren't for the refs, you guys would have a box car full of trophys.

Actually for the most part they don't. Very rarely are two majors called in a game.

Yes it does. Injuries happen all the time in this game. I feel bad for him and wish him well but, I remember no penalty being called.

Re: UAA at Denver - Friday 11/21/11

Are you suggesting that officials should be calling more penalties because one of your team got traumatically injured earlier in the season?

Yeah, that's exactly what I'm suggesting. Maybe you'd like it better if he had died, which 98% of people who suffer his injury do. I'm suggesting that an emphasis be paid to this particular type of infraction, just like they're doing in the NFL.

Re: UAA at Denver - Friday 11/21/11

I promised myself I wouldn't engage with you whiney as*holes. And I'm going to rededicate myself to that goal. There's a hockey game being played here. Why don't we focus on that.

So nothing should be done about players basically cheating and putting themselves in greater danger?
