Hmmm, I guess that makes sense. But I seem to remember teams wearing black in past years as well. I would prefer dark green.
Black gear is significantly cheaper than green. Green requires custom ordering while black is straight off the shelf.

If you want them to wear green gear they will happily accept your donation.

I get it, this has already been discussed JJ.

Agreed!
Sweep the dump bears and a lotta help down south and we get the 8th playoff spot????

I hope the guys are all done giving the flu to each other. Maybe they should all get flu shots next season!

A lot of help? That's the understatement of the year! If NMU gets one point, one point!, UAA is out.

Remember how I said that lost point to LSSU would hurt us? Well guess what? It did.

Suze,

When I opened your twitter link it says that the Alaska Aces have NOT been sold.

That is a new post. The ECHL message boards were speculating it was the Aces. We will know tomorrow. Sounds like several of the ECHL teams are struggling.

The last Anchorage hockey related venture I can recall failing was the Crossbar.
They were great for accommodating us Seawolf fans and also hosted the team game day lunch.
They were real friends to the Seawolves.
The Aces? Not so much.

That place was pretty good, too bad frontman of 36 Crazyfists Brock Lindow *allegedly* misused funds for the restaurant. And of course, they are releasing a new album soon, after there have been talks of retiring during the last two albums..

It appears that the Allen Americans of the ECHL got sold, not the Aces:

Followed the link.
I didn't see anything definitive saying it was the Allen Americans that were sold. What I did see were question marks following references to that team.
Did the Aces management say they would make some sort of announcement on the teams future one way or the other today???
