UAA got bailed out by Tech last night beating UAH and keeping UAA within 4 points. Need it again tonight to realistically have a shot.
Ferris and UAH are the most likely teams we could hopscotch.

Tech won in a shootout tonight
I think it was Kari from Channel 2 who brought up playing to an opponents level and I think that is true, playing up to MTU and playing down to NMU are two great examples. Positive interview with Thomas & Kozun:

Thanks. I haven't heard anything about parents weekend. I assume it will be during the _airbanks series? Anyone know?
This is fascinating, although I have no meaningful technical understanding of what you're doing. You must love doing that stuff to make the effort. I wonder, though, how your predictions compare to the Pick 'em as far as successfully predicting outcomes. Is there a way to compare?
I didn't see you work up anything for any teams other than the Alabama game and the UAA/MN State game.I do enjoy this — and I'm learning, and it's getting better. I haven't checked against Pick-Em, but I could after the season. I'll be doing some statistical analysis to see how it could be improved. The system itself is pretty resilient: win a game against an evenly-matched foe, do well; win when you're heavily favored, meh; win when you're a big underdog, WOW! It's the transitive property —*UAA beat UAH, UAH beat UAF, therefore UAA >>> UAF, right? —*taken to another level.
A big win for UAA this weekend would really move the needle. It would also make me sad, not because I don't like the Seawolves, but because I'm afraid that UAH will have squandered the playoffs again.

Guess you were too busy.
You truly are a troll.
You truly are a troll.
Although it's a negative set of numbers (which mean nothing once the puck drops) you open with "Hello, Friends". Your sarcasm is not lost. You added nothing more to your post than a sarcastic opening and a numbers negative link.
Besides not posting to your this weeks opponents thread until after Camilo tossed you a bone, you skipped posting to any threads other than UAA and MN State. Check the times of your posts.
Most people are happier being positive rather then negative but I guess there are exceptions.
Your life must be very empty that you can find nothing better to do then try to an elicit a response by being a negative troll.
What a guy!
Butt hurt a little?I'm unaware that it was an Internet crime to publicize some fairly hard work on the Internet to a group of fans who might appreciate it. I'm pretty sure that you're the only person who thinks that I'm trolling this discussion topic, and if I'm wrong, I'd honestly like to hear it. If I'm coming across as a jerk, let me know. [I brought ponies! I thought y'all liked ponies!]
I don't watch many UAA games outside of those against UAH —*sometimes, if I'm still up, I'll watch a home game in Anchorage or Fairbanks. So no, I can't really talk knowledgeably about your team. I can't tell you if Mantha's dropping his glove or if his defensemen are leading him out to dry or if the players have tuned the coach out. I'm not there to hear what the boosters have to say (and if they're like boosters anywhere else, they're probably saying a lot). I've never sat in your arena, and I don't know how bad the muffler is on the Zamboni.
I do know a little bit about how to run statistical simulations, which are, as you note, not binding upon the game in any way, shape, or form. If I could magically predict the season, I would find that very boring unless it were "UAH goes 28-0-0-0, wins all non-conference matchups, scores 10 goals a game in the NCAAs, and is the first NCAA men's ice hockey team to be enshrined in the Hockey Hall of Fame before they walk across the stage at graduation".
No, I'm just a guy who likes hockey, likes statistics, and wants to combine the two of them from time to time. I worked on this today while I was at work, which is why there was a gap between posting the first two and posting the last two.
I also know that none of the above will be very likely to change your mind, but ... dude, I have a voluminous body of work on the Internet, from running a sports e-zine 20 years ago to writing for USCHO and USA College Hockey Magazine to 10+ years on Twitter and a ton of other stuff. None of that says troll.
HTH. HAND. YHNBT.

You're an a**hole.Butt hurt a little?
I think the Seawolves were favored in the N. MI series.
Didn't see you post here then.
You're a troll.
If that came from someone I respected it would mean something. You're an a**hole.
