We have played better at home compared to the road, UA_ hasn't.
UAF has a better road record than UAA has at home.
With the Aces gone, ECHL might come a knocking, like to see how you "hockey" town will support ECHL and NCAA hockey, on top of juniors. Oh wait you're junior and NCAA hockey compares to our NCAA and ECHL hockey, funny how our attendance suffers.
Our attendance will continue to climb without the Aces.
Seawolf logic: "Hooray, our competition has gone out of business! Even though that means upwards of 80 full and part time jobs are now lost in a city that is already in the middle of a major economic recession that has seen hundreds of other high paying jobs be eliminated or leave the state, we're still going to have a few dozen more people come to our games."
News flash...the Aces going under only hurts hockey in Anchorage, and has a negative trickle-down effect on the economy. Until UAA does something to not make its home hockey games "the epitome of boring" (as one ADN commenter aptly put it), you aren't going to be packing the Sully anytime soon.
Last but not least...your*
