UNH has also won 2 straight and gets UMass Friday night, so maybe their early game struggles are behind them. They're also averaging roughly 35 shots per game yet only have a 2.29 goal per game average. That's going to rise if they keep shooting like that. (As a comparison Maine is currently averaging 3.17 GPG / 30 SPG)
I think Maine can win Saturday night though.
Keys:
1. Quiet building with an early goal (or two)
2. Forecheck like mad
3. Sustain a 3rd period lead
I think that under normal conditions UMO might have a shot at a reeling UNH team, but make no mistake about it, UNH is like hornet's nest right now after their recent exploits, and I expect this team to make a stand at home.
