Two WCHA Turkeys: Michigan Tech at Mankato, November 27-28

Re: Two WCHA Turkeys: Michigan Tech at Mankato, November 27-28

What the hell is going on???

Didn't you hear?
PB was a cover-up for the real relationship here.

SO TOTALLY JUST KIDDING.
anywho, remember that night I was really drunk, right after bb_dl tore apart his face in a duel with the sidewalk?

Re: Two WCHA Turkeys: Michigan Tech at Mankato, November 27-28

To clarify, this is what happened: (also a good reminder of why I don't drunk Facebook anymore):

"Dustin!don't every scarthc you pretty littel face agoain!it's asy.d"

Re: Two WCHA Turkeys: Michigan Tech at Mankato, November 27-28

Everyone going to Mankato, I just booked the hotel that is attached to the arena for both nights. If I should cancel for Friday night, please let me know ASAP, and I will cancel the first night. (I don't want to end up being the only one there and have to cover the whole cost by myself, if that is the case, I'll drive home Friday night) I'm also guessing that there won't be too many of us that we'll need more than the one room for the weekend.

Re: Two WCHA Turkeys: Michigan Tech at Mankato, November 27-28

Bethlyn and I are working on comp tickets but don't hold your breath.

I am staying wherever. I assumed I might be staying with Amy again, assuming I hold my barf in and she lets me. I am up for whatever option saves me the most money. I am already spending 12 hours of driving time just to GET to Mankato with a truck that gets 18 miles to the gallon, tops (12.5 around houghton). Then I get the drive back to Houghton, so less money = happy Yager. Sorry if that screws up your plans, Dustin.

Not a problem. I'll wait to hear if SiouxTechie needs a place to crash, if she doesn't I can cancel it without a charge for a couple more days.

In case one doesn't care to read the Mankato season thread (and really, who could blame you), Shane Frederick is reporting Maverick Junior Andy Sackrison will be out of the lineup for a while.

Re: Two WCHA Turkeys: Michigan Tech at Mankato, November 27-28

Just a note to the Tech posters - I won't be able to do a Drive Time summary tomorrow. I'm headed out of town for Thanksgiving, so I won't be around to listen to the interview.

I tried to find the thread last night but couldn't find it after 5 pages deep.

I haven't posted today yet, I feel weird.

Anyways, I haven't heard anything about my car today. Last I heard, my father (who happens to be my mechanic) said that it would be running fine. I hope "running fine" also means "will be able to make it to Mankato and back" :)

Are you driving down solo or bringing other peoples with?

It would just be me. (Most Sioux fans will be at the hopefully really good hockey tourney in GF that I should be going to...) Unless you want me to try to convince Alicia to come with?? :p

I just thought I saw a comment on facebook that I thought she might be making the trip, so I thought I'd ask.

Oh. Well I'm pretty sure she's not coming with me. I've barely talked to her in the last week. You can count me in for both nights though. If my car stops working, well I guess we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. Ugh, stupid bridges.... :D

Ok, sounds good. :)

Yager, any news on tickets? or should we try shirtless's and my "Troy Jutting gave us tickets" trick?:p

Direct from Yager himself: "i am going to email jamie and get myself a ticket, but that is all i can get... and then we can split the cost of another ticket... for lodging, i've gotta talk to amy and see if there is room to stay there or if staying with dustin is a better choice"

You might be able to put in your own request with Jamie. 3 free tickets doesn't sound too excessive. Maybe just mention what you've done in the past for the program, the road trips, and the stuff with the Misfits and what not.
