Two WCHA Turkeys: Michigan Tech at Mankato, November 27-28

Re: Two WCHA Turkeys: Michigan Tech at Mankato, November 27-28

Isn't Mankato like an 1 3/4 hours away? What's the hold up?
I can watch hockey with you ***holes anytime. I don't get a lot of chances to see people from Rochester, especially since I spend my summers in Houghton.

I'm just keeping my options open right now. Like you said, its only an hour and half away, so it can be a last minute decision.

Re: Two WCHA Turkeys: Michigan Tech at Mankato, November 27-28

That's what happens when the majority of your fan base isn't toothless inbred a**holes...

Touche. The entire Tech fanbase is toothless inbred arseholes.

Me and the girl
Oh good, what's a Tech game without you 2, no fun ha :D Stayin at the hotel with us? We should all coordinate this soon...

I agree. I'm going to be driving 5 hrs and missing out on some pretty good hockey in GF. I have very mixed feelings about this by the way...

I can't believe he's giving up a chance to see ST. Speaking of her, she has the chance to see UND play the #1 team in the country and she's going to these games. She's obviously been smoking way too much meth.
Yes, between that and all the crack, I'm going to get some help soon I swear!

We are staying at a friends place actually.

I cannot believe you are missing out on that tournament! Quite the contrast in games between Grand Forks and Mankato. :)

Re: Two WCHA Turkeys: Michigan Tech at Mankato, November 27-28

So UND and Tech is not a huge rivalry. If we could keep the negative comments about both teams' fanbases to a minimum that would be nice. I know most of it is all in fun, but I can also tell when it's going past the line.

I happen to be friends with a lot of people from both fanbases, and every team has their stupid idiot fans. However, we do not need to be blasting anyone in a message board, especially if you're just bitter and/or don't really know that many people from a fanbase.

If it's all in good fun, I understand. I'm just saying that blasting of UND fans is not needed, especially not in this thread about a Kato/Tech series, and especially not if you're basing your remarks from a couple of people on a message board (and judging people in pictures and/or blogs). Thanks :)

Quite frankly, I think ST is making the right decision. I should be going to Mankato, but alas, I'm not. Contrariwise, I'm moving to Houghton.
Wise decision? Doubtful.

Think of it as a halfway house. Calumet = nowhere, Houghton = bumblefart. Before long, you'll be ready for the big city (and I don't mean Marquette). :p

Just to note, I'm pretty sure retrorunner is a Mankato fan...

You're right, because Sue fan's certainly are not...

Let me help you out here my undereducated Mankato friend. When Yager said this:

He was speaking of UND fans, so this has already been covered. Obviously your reading comprehension isn't up to par, so you're welcome. I'm happy to help clear things like this up for those less fortunate.

Though you are completely correct, I couldn't help but think of this clip from It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia clip. Ignore the stupid overlay pictures of people, those are not aprt of the show.

You just got upset about 70% of the discussion on this board. :):p

Re: Two WCHA Turkeys: Michigan Tech at Mankato, November 27-28

Two teams from the bottom half of the WCHA meet just after Thanksgiving.
Actually, the bottom half of the bottom half is a more apt description. This series will go a long way in determining who's dead in the water, and who's frantically treading water.

speak for yourself...MTU already has as many conference wins as last year...dead in the water and frantically treading water do not describe MTU today nor on December 1!
