Ski School is awesome :) Ski Patrol was better though ;)

And I just finished episode 4 of Orange...what an awesome series. Netflix is 2 out of 3 on series so far :)

Ski Patrol? Meh at best. The crazy guy was the only really funny part of the movie, and he wasn't THAT funny.

You know in Wayne's World, the guy in the middle in the back seat during Bohemian Rhapsody who looks like he's gonna puke? Same guy.

The only good thing about Ski Patrol was Yvette Nipar and her ginormous hair.

Jeez, first I read that Cousin Oliver was in Sharknado, and now this! *mindblown*

While James made the ultimate correct decisions in A) Not tattooing the client and B) Not tattooing himself just for a shot at the money; matter of integrity in that case (he didn't want a Phoenix tatt), his bedside manner/past tatts led to the correct decision of the judges. This was...quite a shocker of an episode. I'm pretty happy that Tatu Baby got called out. She needed to be. She didn't finish. However, she DID meet the requirements of the challenge, and I think that simple fact was what saved her.

Matty was no surprise. Consistently at the bottom, no argument.

Damm. I completely forgot.

My girlfriend and I started watching Orange is the New Black last night, mostly due to the huge praise it has gotten here. The first episode was a little odd, and my girlfriend didn't really care for it, though she didn't say that, I could tell because she was more interested in her Kindle than the show. :p By the time we got half way through the second episode though, I think we were both enjoying it. We only watched 2 episodes, but I imagine we'll continue with the show. Lots of boobs in that first episode.

Anyone watching Drunk History on Comedy Central? My wife came across this post about it on Grantland and it sounds like a fun concept, so I think we're going to give it a shot (especially since there's nothing else on in the summer).

The first episode is very rough...the show hits its stride in episode 3.

I happened to catch about 20 minutes of some show on TLC about movie stars that go in search of their family history/geneology. I thought it was really quite interesting, and it seemed very genuine. The episode last night was with Cristina Applegate, and she wanted to learn about her grandparents, whom her father didn't even remember meeting. They followed her and a researcher through the process of digging up marriage certificates, birth certificates, legal documents, death certificates, etc. and they pieced together what happened that caused her father to be separated from them. In the end it showed her telling her father about it, and taking him to his mother's unmarked grave, to pay their respects. Overall, I thought it was very well done.

edit: the teaser for next week was for Chelsea Handler, trying to find out if rumors of her family member being a Nazi are actually true

It's called "Who Do You Think You Are?" I watched it occasionally when it was on NBC (I think it was NBC). I'm into geneology, so I liked it. But parts of it seem like one big ad for Ancestry.com.

My wife loves this show and was sad when it stopped airing on NBC. She didn't notice that it was on TLC now until just this week. She used to work at the Wisconsin State Historical Society Library and that show filmed at least once there I believe.

I should watch that one...see if it explains exactly how I am related to her  (if the Nazi is on the Handler side this could get a bit hairy...)
