Craig has his head on right. He knows he has the talent, and he's kept his mouth shut for the most part - clearly Josh is getting on his nerves.

As for Tatu Baby, I think she's got to get out of her head. She did better last year when the spotlight wasn't on her. Right now, every other artist knows what she can do, the judges know what she can do, and it has her rattled. She was much more comfortable last year as just one of the other artists and staying out of the fray while doing her work.

Good call getting Ally off the show. She just doesn't have what's needed to stay in. Chris is gone next, he's been doing sub-par work but getting by because of lesser artists that have needed to go first.

Agreed on all counts.

Ink Master:

I thought Jackie should have beat Jime tonight, but that is not a knock on Jime at all. Chris was the right choice for elimination, based on his past tatts. Made Rich damaging the skin made it a closer call.

For putting so much time they spent on damaging the skin, you'd think that might take more emphasis than on past work. If you look strictly at this week's work, both Chris and Rich were very similar, but Chris didn't damage skin. And I think Chris is right in that his tattoo will age well, certainly better than one with skin damage.

You can always add more to the tattoo; you can't take away damaged skin. And I agree, you'd think so, but so far, not really. Not fond of the little time they (judges) gave Josh taking the easy route on the elimination tatt. Hopefully, that stays in the back of their minds in future judgements.

Josh has talent, for certain, but he's put himself in a very bad spot. He turned himself into the object of loathing for the entire group, and it will cost him eventually. Even with Craig's poor understanding of black and white, so long as that's not made a requirement in future challenges, it'll either be him or Jime winning this season.

As for Tatu Baby, the woman has some talent to her, but she got way more consideration last year than she deserved. She's not nailing the things she should have been nailing - like all of this week's theme. They should have brought back either Jesse Smith or Jamie Davies. I thought that they were both better artists, and would likely have applied last year's lessons more fully to this year's competition and thus made for happier clients.

I think that's the issue with Tatu Baby (the pressure). She's not handling it well. Last year? She was just some random artist. This year, she came into it as the favorite, and it's getting to her. I do agree with Craig being the man to beat overall, but Jime is quickly rising, with his versatility.

How could anyone not like these guys?

Duck Dynasty star Jase Robertson was kicked out of New York City’s Trump International Hotel after a staff member apparently thought he was homeless. Robertson laughed it off and said he was the victim of “facial profiling.”

...

The Robertsons said they were “absolutely not offended” by the incident and said they love staying at Trump Hotel.

“We were laughing — wait until the Donald hears about this,” he said.

And for what it’s worth, they hope the staff member doesn’t get in trouble.

“He was just as nice as he could be — escorting Jase to the park,” Al said. “And honestly, if I was in his shoes — I’d have done the same thing.”

I read that story earlier today, and I kept thinking to myself, why didn't he show the hotel worker his hotel keycard? It makes me think that after it started and he knew where it would lead that he just wanted a story to tell on whatever TV show he was appearing.

I got the impression that the worker didn't make it obvious that he was escorting him out right away, and by the time it was apparent that they were going outside, Jase just went with it, probably for the comedic value.

Wait. Are you implying that something on reality shows is not genuine? I can't believe it.

Exactly. Reality is right there in the name so how could there be any question there?

Anyone else been keeping up with Burn Notice? The promo for the upcoming last three episodes of the series said something about Michael seeing someone he never expected to see again; my prediction (a bit of an obvious one I guess) is that it will be his father, who we have been told all along is dead, since so much of what we've seen about Michael's background and character evolution was shaped by his relationship with his father.

Re: TV Thread 9: The Walking Dead Americans are completely Justified to be Psyched

Burn Notice has been awesome this season...last nights episode was outstanding! I didnt see the promo but I would think dad would be the only real option. Everyone else is pretty much dead :D

Well right, but the dad is supposedly dead too, I just think he'd be the most interesting possibility of someone to turn out not to be dead. I guess it could also be that guy Larry? He supposedly blew up in that explosion that Fiona got blamed for, but maybe he didn't?
