Has anyone else enjoyed 1600 Penn so far? I have, especially when they brought in Bruce Campbell last week.

Very true. Although, it baffles me how something like "The Mindy Project" (or whatever the **** it's called) is getting renewed while Last Resort, Terra Nova, and the other got cancelled. There are some absolutely atrocious shows out there getting picked up.

Don't get too attached. TV by the Numbers has 1600 Penn as an almost certain cancellation by May.

Terra Nova got decent numbers, but they weren't good enough to cover the show's production budget. Those special effects cost money.

I know why it got cancelled. I just didn't understand why it didn't pull in the numbers I thought it should. Near the end the shows writers really picked it up.

I thought I would never see this movie, because total B-movie awfulness. Wrong. Brilliant subdued satire.

I gave 1600 a try, but they give way too much time to the son and I haven't watched since week 3.

I really like the premise, and the general storyline so far in Zero Hour, but the writing is just plain terrible.

Thats unlikley to chance since Josh Gad, who plays Skip, is also one of the creators, producers and writers of the show.

Yeah, I wasn't a big fan. The hemorrhaging of writers (and Dan Harmon) is really starting to show. It seems like the show is just recycling material. To be fair, a lot of the last two seasons was some sort of recycled material or homage, but this year it seems like everyone involved is a little bored.

On a related note: the bigoted jokes were so lazy and stupid, the only things preventing absolute outrage over last night's episode are (a) the fact that most of the jokes were targeting Germans, instead of any other ethnic group on the planet... you couldn't even stereotype the Irish like that without outrage and (b) the fact that the show is hemorrhaging viewers faster than it's losing quality writers, so there aren't enough people watching to care.
