Re: TV: There She Is, The Old Radiation King

I agree it should have stopped earlier. I don't agree about the characters -- Pierce was the only character I thought was boring and that because Chase wasn't trying and by the end looked like he was actively sabotaging.

The show was what it was -- it was meta/meta/meta. I can see getting tired of that but then, hey, turn it off. I didn't get tired of them reworking that premise because to me it was always very well written and the instances built on each other -- you couldn't, for example, do them in a different order.

I did (as did most people...their ratings were not good) I only finished it cause I got uber sick last summer and I hate leaving shows unfinished if I have a chance to watch later on.

Just started the final season of The Wire. That escalated.....

Edit: first 3 eps.

Bender Meets God
Amazonian Women In The Mood
Fry and the Slurm Factory
Roswell That Ends Well
The Day the Earth Stood Stupid

Malachi: My Lord, the infidels on your back no longer believe in you. They say their prayers go unheeded.
Bender: Of course they go unheeded. How am I supposed to hear prayers coming out of my ***?

Demetri Martin Live (At The Time)

A special I hadn't seen before. Hilarious. If you like Steven Wright-like humor...hoo boy.

Anyone watch Crashing on HBO? I sort of watch parts of it now and then and I saw a few episodes this year. Last nights season 2 finale the ending really struck a chord with me.

The last episode of X Files was fun, particularly if you saw "Metalhead" on Black Mirror.

I would've loved Metalhead so much more if there had been any further explanation for why the world was the way it was.

On that note, Black Mirror renewed for a fifth season.

Good.

For me the more ambiguity the better. Black Mirror is starting to accrete too much exposition for me. I really liked early days when it was all guesswork.

Speaking of, Altered Carbon has so far done a good job of not giving too much away (I'm only about 5 episodes in).

Atlanta S2.1 was excellent. UnReal S3.1 was... interesting; they seem to have recovered from their disastrous S2. And Legion comes back in April.
