Don West is now a black chick. That's pretty funny.

Also: John's gonna be very busy, unless Dr. Smith has it in him.

If Dr. Smith has it in him, then yes, John will be very busy indeed.

Wow. Look at all the people posting about The Walking Dead.

Ratings for Sunday were up to 50% off those of previous mid-season premieres.

Don't worry about Coral. It'll be revealed in a few weeks that he's safe and sound, hiding under a dumpster.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Very good show, A-. The central character is loathsome and the actress who plays her even moreso, but I can't figure out which way the arrows run. The entire rest of the cast is brilliant; the sets are divine. The show is extremely well written -- far, far better than anybody would have any expectation outside a theater.

Most viewers don't seem to realize that Midge is a terrible person. I'm not even sure the show is self-aware. I hope to god the actress is or this is one of the great tragedies of art. But what makes the show fascinating is how beautifully the entire rest of the world around her is crafted. It's as if you took a perfect ship model and handed it off to a spoiled 8-year old to smash and sink. I can't help thinking the writers are mocking the Slate audience who is eating it up utterly unaware that everything about their lives is being ripped bare as superficial and trite.

Good Girls. NBC. Great cast. Horrible script. One and done I'm afraid.

I agree with you.
I felt like the premise could have made a very good movie, but it felt like the show dragged. My wife liked the show so we will likely stay with it until it is canceled.

I liked the Blacklist for a while but it meandered too much with the storyline about her mother and things between her and Red got so repetitive I lost interest. (not to mention Tom...good lord he sucks) When it ends I will go back and watch where I left off.

Tom is one of the great characters of all time.

NBC should be permanently banned from the airwaves for putting out that This is Us pile of flaming ****.

Re: TV: There She Is, The Old Radiation King

Yeah and after 2 seasons it crapped the bed. The last 20 or so episodes were ****ed near unwatchable.

That's too harsh. It was brilliant consistently for a while and then sporadically. The final season wasn't unwatchable but it wasn't great.

But for a while it was the best show on TV.

I respect your opinion...but the show got old fast and circled the drain for way too long. Even the gimmick episodes (like pillow fight) stopped being good after season 3 and the characters just werent interesting enough anymore. Add in the overuse of Abed and his "Breaking the 4th Wall" and the show just got dumb.

For 2 seasons it was brilliant...for another it was decent then it should have stopped.

I agree it should have stopped earlier. I don't agree about the characters -- Pierce was the only character I thought was boring and that because Chase wasn't trying and by the end looked like he was actively sabotaging.

The show was what it was -- it was meta/meta/meta. I can see getting tired of that but then, hey, turn it off. I didn't get tired of them reworking that premise because to me it was always very well written and the instances built on each other -- you couldn't, for example, do them in a different order.

Re: TV: There She Is, The Old Radiation King

People love it. I tried it and stopped. Why do I want to watch real life on TV? Living it is hard enough.

Dr. Mrs. fell for it. She's usually smarter than that but that double X is a b-tch sometimes.

It's manipulative, dullard dreck.
