An NBC show I'm enjoying is The Good Place. Nothing ground breaking, but I like the premise and Janet (D'Arcy Carden) is hilarious. It was driving be crazy during the opening credits trying to remember who Michael Schur is. (Created by him)

Then it finally hit me. It's Mose from The Office.

That's interesting.

Dr. Mrs. loves that show. I don't care for it (I hate Mindy Kaling; why would I like Wal-Mart knock-off Mindy Kaling?) though Danson is excellent.

The fact that Ted Danson turned out to be a very good actor surprised me almost as much as that Matt Damon did. People that good looking have no business having real talent.

Good.

For me the more ambiguity the better. Black Mirror is starting to accrete too much exposition for me. I really liked early days when it was all guesswork.

Speaking of, Altered Carbon has so far done a good job of not giving too much away (I'm only about 5 episodes in).

Atlanta S2.1 was excellent. UnReal S3.1 was... interesting; they seem to have recovered from their disastrous S2. And Legion comes back in April.

I'm 3 episodes in, liking Altered Carbon so far. And I've always suffered why James Purefoy hasn't done more work. Loved him in Rome.

Edit: oh man, looking at his imdb profile, I forgot about the short lived series Philanthropist.

I pretty much watch it for Danson and Janet, now that I think about it.

That said, the last 30 minutes last night was a bit excruciating.

It was good acting.

I do not believe an honest emotion has ever been portrayed on any reality TV show, unless you count the brother on the Bachelor who was all over the loathsome milk toast ginger for being part of a show that was so obviously a fake. That was real, and it was the greatest moment in television history.

These people are jump starting careers as soap opera actors or "social media influencers." It's all about faking authenticity. I don't think they actually have the capacity to feel.

He does theater work in London, too.

Bridget Fonda: "Is that an actor?"
Woody Harrelson: "No. That's Ted Danson."

Re: TV: There She Is, The Old Radiation King

Today on the Andy Griffith show:

Barney: The last big buy I made was my mom's and dad's anniversary present.
Andy: What'd ya get 'em?
Barney: Septic tank.
Andy: For their anniversary?
Barney: Yeah. Oh, they're really hard to buy for. Besides, it was something they could use. They were really thrilled. Two tons of concrete, all steel reinforced.
Andy: You're a fine son, Barn.

:p

Just got done watching the one that takes place in Barney's room in which he had to hide his illegal hot plate. Mayberry didn't pay their peace officers very well.

Jessica Jones

3 eps into the new season. Much like the main character, it cuts to the chase. Lovin' the show.
