At least we've established what it is that makes you uneasy. The big words.

I love big words...except when people use them to sound smarter than they are ;)

I find it creepy you like stupid people. ;)

Back on topic, both excited and nervous about stranger things 2, which got released today.

Reviews have been positive but not exuberant.

They werent going to be as pumped up about it cause it isnt out of nowhere like the first season was. It is a known commodity so it just isnt as exciting.

I haven't seen Stranger Things, but I have found this becoming a common theme (not only with TV shows, but movie sequels). Sometimes, it's kinda criticized (or not AS complimentary) because the "wow" factor isn't there. The product is still solid, but it obviously lacks that "pop" that the introductory season/movie has.

Re: TV: There She Is, The Old Radiation King

At least 2011, he was on the chunky side in The Newsroom.

I checked out his pictures on IMDB, and i was gonna go with starting around 2013, it seems. I don't recall him from The Newsroom, but pics from some thing he did in 2013 he didn't look that big. Stockier than on Numbers, but still relatively normal, nowhere near where he is now.

Yes. It's wonderfully absurd.

It's very, very dumb -- and make no mistake there is no smart subtext or anything -- it's all surface. It makes Angel look like James Joyce. But Dr. Mrs. & I think it's a hoot. Just expect nothing.

Hey, Angel(and Buffy) was frickin' brilliant.

You mispelled Madelaine Petsch.

Wasn't it something like this that got photos banned in the first place?

:D

Re: TV: There She Is, The Old Radiation King

Kinda. It was a poll of "Hottest USCHO Women" that posted pics of actual USCHO posters. That's the part that made pics banned.

Partially correct. That banned pics in the Poll sub-forums, which happened before pics were banned on all parts of the forum.

Google was tracking sites linking to pics hosted on other domains/URLs on behalf of their clients. They served notice to USCHO because this place used to be somewhat popular, with a decent amount of traffic, and said we posters were stealing ad revenue by displaying the pics here. So the forum banned pics.

Also, small correction. It was a "Hot or Not" thread, based upon the site that used to exist(?), and someone posted Quizmire's pic. She was nonplused, I think that poster was then banned, and the poll forum pic tags were disabled.

Re: TV: There She Is, The Old Radiation King

Thanks for all of the clarification, which is correct. :)

It was bad enough, that at one point, I was suspended for posting a pic of MeanEgirl, that was hosted BY this site, for "stealing bandwidth." Needless to say, after I pointed that fact out, I was re-instated. :)
