Re: TV: The League Of Anarchy Is A Bunch Of Justified Mad Men

Watching it on Amazon's Season Pass, so I'll be a day late in watching this season, but Paige's story arc does intrigue me. Adds another level to the show.

Justified.......what a great last line in the newest episode! I think this is gonna be a fun final season.

The season 3 premiere is a solid episode, nothing mind blowing, IMO, just a solid episode. A few questions come up as to whether or not a feint or two were tossed in there, but that might just be me looking/hoping for one.

Also losing Jillian (the DC news producer) is no fun since she was creaming the rest of them in any physical competition, and that was really starting to **** them off.

I thought she was the WWE Diva in training, whoops. Their one on one date was brutal to watch, poor thing had no clue she was tanking bad. The problem with this season is Chris is just so boring and uninteresting. He lives in a hellish place that he'll never move from and no girl will want to move there (maybe Cinderella from Nebraska might). Sure he's a millionaire, but he runs a factory farm in Bumfruck Iowa, who's going to go "yeah, sign me up for that lifestyle!"?

I'm starting to get a better feel for the women now that most of the dead weight is being tossed. There's really only 5 girls that still probably have a shot, Kardashian Bachelorette (super long shot, but will stay around because he sees a shot to take her v card), Taylor Swift Bachelorette, Nebraska Cinderella who shot to the top this week, Manipulative Michigander (she plays the game so strong, and other girls will complain about her to him, which will make him defend her more), and I can't think of anything clever for Kaitlyn. Frankly I'm hoping to see Taylor Swift Bachelorette get close but not make it to the end so she can be the next Bachelorette. I think after last night it's Nebraska Cinderella's competition to lose because I think Chris finally found someone that may actually want to move to Iowa.

I put too much thought into this show.

Which is the one complaining how she should have gotten the princess date? I want her to win just out of general spite.

I agree on your assessment. Given what happened in this premiere, I'd say 5 seasons is about right for this series, btw.

Re: TV: The League Of Anarchy Is A Bunch Of Justified Mad Men

Backstrom is outstanding. Just outstanding

I watched the second episode last night. Have not seen the first episode yet.

While I liked the actors and characters quite a bit, there was something about the writing that I found vaguely dissatisfying.

It took me awhile to figure out just what was missing. Then I realized, this is a "detective show" yet they spent very little time actually working on the case. Maybe it was only this episode, since it's a new series they need to spend more time on character development, etc., and once we know the crew they'll devote more time to solving crimes.

It's an atypical formula, usually we learn about the characters as they go about solving crimes, here (in this one episode, at least) we occasionally checked in on the crime as we watched the characters interact.

I'm not actually "complaining," it's more like, I'm not quite sure what to make of it yet. As I said, the actors and characters all seem interesting and well done.

Ashley I* (who I guess now is just "Ashley." Sniff.). So she just dressed up anyway and walked around the house being a princess. I loved it, it was sort of an externalization of what's going on inside all the feather dusters they call brains.

* Of Syracuse University. They must be so proud.

I'm sure he spends all his time in Hollywood trying to be an actor/model. That guy has about as much authenticate farm to him as you or I.

I dunno. No one talks about shows I watch.

Adventure Time
American Pickers
Treehouse Masters
The Big Bang Theory (occasionally)
How It's Made

Re: TV: The League Of Anarchy Is A Bunch Of Justified Mad Men

I've only seen Adventure Time a few times, but it seemed good. Like Regular Show better, though.

American Pickers got old pretty quickly, just seems like Pawn Stars Road Trip.

Never heard of Treehouse.

Big Bang Theory - stereotype system overload.

How It's Made- Can be good, really depends on the product. I really don't care how they make paper cups or pliers, but I do like knowing how they make hockey pucks and gummy bears.

Not sure it'll be good continually, but Big Giant Swords is an entertaining show so far. First time I've seen it.

So good to see Buddy Garrity from Friday Night Lights on Justified!
