Re: TV: The League Of Anarchy Is A Bunch Of Justified Mad Men
Let's talk Super Bowl commercials!!!
First, the worst, which is Nationwide. They're advertising dead kids. Dead kids. DEAD KIDS. WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM NATIONWIDE!
Second, the awkward, which is Nissan. My dad pointed it out to me after the game that Harry Chapin (Cat's in the Cradle) died in a car accident. Maybe the writers were trying to tie into that? Doubt it, though.
Third, the Merica. Budweiser. People will probably only remember the puppy and Clydesdales, but the one going against beer snobs was awful. They literally admitted they mass produce a terrible product, but "You're a corn-fed American man who don't need no elitist yuppie to tells ya what to do. Drink Budweiser. Drink America."
Fourth, the favorite. This one was a little hard because there just weren't many good ones this year, but I'd have to go with the commercial of the dad and daughter growing up and he drops her off at the airport at the end. Don't even remember what it was for though, so I guess it failed.
