CBS is bringing back Stalker on Monday nights to finish out the season. Not sure if this means that's it, or they get a second season.

Re: TV: The League Of Anarchy Is A Bunch Of Justified Mad Men

She's supposed to be this smart business-woman, very independent (but also wanting a good man; understandable). So she's just going to ship her son away for this guy she's just met? This implies she's going to do just about anything for him, which goes against her character. Wayyyyy against her character.

Um. She was being sarcastic. You can't possibly have missed that.

It wasn't fair of her, because he was completely within his rights to say "sorry, but no kids in my future, I've done that." Neither of them had invested anything in what was a fling up until then. So I think her jump to heavy irony was not respectful of him or worthy of herself. However, like I said, the fact that up until then both of them had behaved like adults, and suddenly here's this presumably grown up man acting like a stupid adolescent, made me want her to tell him to take the train. That Joanie of all people would be attracted to somebody so shallow and fickle was what was completely against her character. Heck, if you want somebody whose brain turns to jello because of your boobies, just marry Don to remove both of you from the market as a public service.

So: the writers were lazy. This is potentially a bad sign for how the other arcs wrap up.

Shonda killed McDreamy!!! Oh no!!!

Patrick Dempsey learns what others have, don't **** with Shonda.

Though really, I don't think there was much else to do with his character at this point. Anything plot point involving him was guaranteed to be the least interesting one on any given episode. Actually I take that back, any involving his sister was the least interesting, but he's a close second.

So if Joan quits to marry Bruce Greenwood, does she still get the full value of her shares, or does she have to serve out the four remaining years on her contract? She will basically be a glorified secretary at McCann, on board for scenery and little else.

The staff at SC&D took the news well. Even Don couldn't rally the troops - or get their attention as they all walked out.

I don't really know how stock options/etc work (especially in that day and age). My only experience was cashing out my options b/c I didn't have the money to buy the stocks when the "decide" date came up (it was a now-discontinued company perk, I made out well). Could she stay on initially, cash out her stock, THEN leave? At that point, I think she'd have enough money on her own to not worry about a job for the remainder of the no-compete period of time.

There's got to be something deeper to the 5 partners of the firm; a clue to the ending, something. Twice in this ep, they were shown side-by-side, alone. The meeting with McCann, and at the company announcement.

And Pete...I didn't hate him at all this episode. He was actually a caring human being for most of it. I was impressed at seeing this side of his character. The Trudy/home scene was especially impressive, with the Joan scene not far behind.

Watching Bates Motel on the DVR...I'll keep watching this series right up until they start showing Norman and Norma making out...then I'm done.

Am I the only one who still watches Deadliest Catch?

Re: TV: The League Of Anarchy Is A Bunch Of Justified Mad Men

BTW, the Campbell-MacDonald thing really happened: The Massacre of Glencoe

That's great. My wife and I looked at each other after that scene with "um... OK, then."

I enjoyed this episode -- more than any in this last sprint, which overall has been excellent. It made me realize (again) how much I will miss these characters.

Angel's Son finally got to be a functioning human. They seem to be setting him and Annie Edison up to get back together. Honestly, they deserve each other.

Loved the scenes between Roger and Don; reveled in Ken's kiss off. Well done, all.

As always, the "caper" portion ("Draper's Five") is the most fun portion of the show.

The dead-eyed lying by the McCann CEO was beautiful. I've been in that meeting once in my life, and that is exactly how it goes down.

I don't think a large percentage of the people who watch that show will get that reference.

It took me a second, but I got it. Surprised he didn't pull out a "Masterminds" reference.

Peggy's entrance into her new workplace: BAD. ASS. And will Joan EVER really win?

Re: TV: The League Of Anarchy Is A Bunch Of Justified Mad Men

OK, so Secrets and Lies did turn out to be a bad copy of Gracepoint, which was a bad copy of Broadchurch. The kid did it. Although this time it was no accident, the kid was a coldblooded psychopath.

Gotham was just plain awesome all season. Can't wait for season two.
