Re: TV Shows VII: Who gets canceled next?

The Golden Globes could be worth watching this year. http://marquee.blogs.cnn.com/2011/11/16/ricky-gervais-to-host-2012-golden-globes/?hpt=hp_t2

Ricky Gervais to host 2012 Golden Globes

Awards ceremonies are sticking to what they know.

Following the announcement that Billy Crystal will once again host the Academy Awards in February, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association has confirmed that Ricky Gervais is returning as host of the Golden Globes. The HFPA says in a post on its website announcing Gervais' hosting gig that they voted to bring the Brit back after meeting with an NBC exec.

Survivor: The person I'm rooting for won immunity. TWICE.

South Park: I watch it, get to the end, and said to myself... Dude... this sucks...

Re: TV Shows VII: Who gets canceled next?

That God for video online. I forgot to record Once Upon A Time on Sunday so I just watched it on ABC.com. Great episode. I really like this show.

Re: TV Shows VII: Who gets canceled next?

My expectations for The League lower every week, so its not that shocking that I actually enjoyed this weeks cliche-driven episode.

Hoping that Sunny is a good one this week...

Re: TV Shows VII: Who gets canceled next?

The South Park episode was horrible. Horrible.
It was bad, although the fanatically agnostic foster parents cracked me up because my wife and I have fostered. We would go to county-mandated foster training and every other couple was militantly religious.

It's actually happening!

Done deal: Netflix is bringing back cult classic Arrested Development.

The Bluth family’s new comedy adventures will be available exclusively through the video service — which outbid traditional TV venues to pick up the series — starting in the first half of 2013. Why, that’s like getting unlimited juice.

Re: TV Shows VII: Who gets canceled next?

It may go without saying, but imho I think it's noteworthy that Modern Family continues to be even better this season than before.

I can't believe I am typing this but...Beavis and Butthead has been great so far! Not as good as the original, but still just hilarious. Whenever they watch Jersey Shore or Teen Mom it is just perfection :D

Here is them watching Katy Perry:

The Walking Dead isn't really everything that it could be, but I'm still digging it. I just wish it would stop stalling at the farm right now. I blame the stupid missing kid that was barely mentioned this week.

Is anyone watching Rules of Engagement? I just caught my first full episode this week, and I was rolling! Patrick Warburton and David Spade both play their archetypes, and the others on the show put in solid (not great) performances.

Yes, absolutely love this show...

Re: TV Shows VII: Who gets canceled next?

I finally caught up on Hell on Wheels, and it was surprisingly good. Maybe my expectations had been lower by some of the average reviews it has gotten, but I was pretty impressed.
