Re: TV Shows VII: Who gets canceled next?

Yes, that's obviously a fine counterexample. But the original question remains, which series this year were not given time to let their storylines develop? If Mario Lopez had been given a few more celebrities to go bother, people totally would have bought in, right?

Free Agents with Hank Azaria.

Re: TV Shows VII: Who gets canceled next?

That's misleading. It's not on the Thursday night lineup. Could be moved to another night.

Community has gone up against The Big Bang Theory for the past year. I think NBC is likely trying to compete for that time slot because Community's numbers are actually pretty good. I think we'll see Whitney or Up All Night get pulled early February and Community will be slotted in.

Ok, I'll buy that.

Re: TV Shows VII: Who gets canceled next?

Up All Night won't get pulled. It's one of their hits and they've moved it to their prime location on Thursday.

Pretty good? I love the show, but I thought the general consensus was that the ratings were actually pretty awful.

I looked up the Nielsen ratings and this year they've stunk, but last year in the same time slot they did we'll call it "admirable". I think putting 30 rock up against Big Bang is really smart by NBC.

Particularly since TBBT isn't as good as it has been in past. Becoming more of a typical relationship show and seems to have lost some of it's intellectual edge.

So I think we all know who Barney marries for sure now...man I know karma is a biotch but poor Barney :(

Sons of Anarchy is blowing up.

It's funny, Kozik probably got killed off so Kenny Johnson could go full time on Prime Suspect... which is probably getting cancelled. Once again, NBC hurts shows that are actually good in favor of crap that's due to be cancelled.

Yeah, you kinda got that vibe to ya. So who's Runkel? MNS? :D And don't you DARE call me Nero. Although minus the uh, method actor thing, it'd be a close call....
Runkel? Really? Ok, so I couldn't completely disagree...

I couldn't decide who was the more disturbing character...Nero, or Sue Collini.

Re: TV Shows VII: Who gets canceled next?

Nero...Sue was awesome in an awful sort of way! ;) Collini OUT!

Psych tonight was hilarious! :D
