Re: TV Shows VII: Who gets canceled next?

Is it possible that real Emily is the one who ends up killing Daniel?
I could see that. It is obvious that she doesn't have a problem with killing people. I'm thinking that maybe Jack kills Daniel, he's the only one that we know is there at the time, and its looking like he might have a motive, that is being jealous over new Emily.

I watched 2 episodes of Happy Endings, didn't laugh once. Terrible. Will never watch it again.

I think it's someone that hasn't been introduced yet. When the show started, it reversed 5 months. How far in are we now? A month maybe? A lot can happen. It'll be interesting to have a few more details on the relationship between fake Emily and real Emily and find out what their deal is. Seems like fake Emily would have taken more precautions, especially if she still has a link to the warden - why wouldn't they fudge the records instead of just not letting Frank see them? They didn't think he'd break in? Really? Seems like a slip up - she didn't have those early in the show. and I didn't like her wardrobe selection as much this week. She has had some awesome dresses, but this week's was not as flattering.

Its getting a little bigger than Emily expected, so she's losing some control. Nolan is constantly messing with ****, even though he usually ends up helping. The gay frat boy guy is being a huge pain in the *** to deal with which is taking Emily's attention away from where it should be. And last episode she had the Frank problem to deal with too.

I really can't see how old Emily can be explained to everyone, and have it believable. They obviously can't say she's Amanda, which is what her ID would say, that would cause some issues with Jack and the Graysons, and also put Emily into the crosshairs, because the Graysons would start to expect something if Amanda shows up. Any chance old Emily/new Amanda go's to Jack and Jack thinks she really is Amanda and something happens there? Jack ends up cleaning up old Emily's mess after she kills Daniel?

I kind of hate Britta on Community.

Not liking the psycoanalysis that Britta does on everybody now that she's a psychology major? I agree I'm not liking what they're doing with her character. Now John Goodman is the man but he couldn't save that episode last night.

They haven't known what to do with Britta since the first season. Other than being a foil for Winger she doesn't have much of a point.

I'm glad they dialed the Chang back -- for a while there he was at a 9 and we needed him at a 3. And I really like the filling out of Shirley they have done little by little. The actress has semi-regular cameos on The Soup and her interaction with McHale is very funny and seems genuinely warm.

It's still a good show; it's still really hit and miss. We may not see strings of 3 or 4 straight amazing episodes like we used to, but I think it still has another year in it.

In theory that is all it has left. Community college itself is only suposed to be 2 years. If it goes past 4 seasons it might be the ultimate shark jump.

Re: TV Shows VII: Who gets canceled next?

We're a bit past the 4th of July, and wasn't the wedding(?) from the first episode on Labor Day weekend? So we've got less than two months to catch up.

Yes, that is correct. But it was an engagement party, not a wedding. So we have a couple months for Daniel to pop the question to new Emily.

So uh...Dexter.

HOLY....the last 30 seconds of this episode/the promo for next week have me very, very shocked...and pumped to see what happens next!

Assuming they're going full time. But isnt the whole point the fact that they seem to be skimming by?

Re: TV Shows VII: Who gets canceled next?

We started watching Breaking Bad last night. Only watched Episode 1, but I'm curious. I like Walt's character.

Re: TV Shows VII: Who gets canceled next?

The pilot of Once Upon a Time showed promise. Wise acre kids are the only tolerable kids on TV (they are least likely to become mawkish props). There are lots of directions the show can go -- hopefully the writers will be good enough to choose wisely.

I started early October and already am done all 4 seasons. It's a fantastic show. Amazing writing, cinematography, and acting.

Re: TV Shows VII: Who gets canceled next?

I'm really starting to get into The Walking Dead, I'm finally caught up, so I can watch them as they come out. It is nice to see that the show is still good in an episode like last night when they only encounter one walker. It doesn't need the nonstop zombie action to hold the viewers attention.

I think Shane's character is great. Sometimes he's a complete ***, or worse, like when he shot Otis, but for the most part I get the impression that he is trying to be a good guy, and he's just stuck in an incredibly difficult situation. (to not give anything away for those that may have not seen last night's episode yet) The last scene, with Lori in the field will lead to some interesting developments, I would think. On the same note, the Glenn/Maggie storyline could end up getting interesting. I'm hoping she becomes a regular character, mostly because she's really nice to look at. :p

Re: TV Shows VII: Who gets canceled next?

Hell on Wheels definitely merits me sticking with it for a few more episodes. I like the lead, I like Common, I like the railroad baron. Some of the other stuff is so-so.

This season has been a huge step forward all around for the series. I'm pumped to see where it's going (and knowing what I know about the comics, the Shane, Lori and Glenn/Maggie storylines will all be going somewhere good).

Finished watching episode 3 of OUAT...few more characters hinted at. Grumpy and Sleepy were the janitor/security guard at the hospital, and I'm guessing the doctor was Doc, which leaves 4 more dwarves to find. Best guess is that the sheriff is the forrester who let Snow White go in her back story.
