TV Shows VII: Who gets canceled next?

Re: TV Shows VII: Who gets canceled next?

The aftershow seemed to indicate that it was more recent and will come into play in future episodes.
It was a question on the AMC Talking Dead website you watch at the same time as the show. I guessed when Rick went back into Atlanta after Merle, but the correct answer was when he first got to Atlanta. Question remains...where did it come from and where was it going? That could very definitely come into play in future episodes (and the way they have a habit of always revisiting things, I'd almost count on it).

My guess would be that there is a helipad at the prison...

Re: TV Shows VII: Who gets canceled next?

My hope for season 3 is that Rick and Lori decide to lock Carl in a cell so he stops wandering into every **** scene.

Re: TV Shows VII: Who gets canceled next?

How I Met Your Mother was interesting. I like the Barney-Quinn relationship and the twist between those two, then the Ted alluding to not seeing Robin for a while is interesting.

Re: TV Shows VII: Who gets canceled next?

Finally found out who the scary old lady was on Justified. And she's awesome.

Re: TV Shows VII: Who gets canceled next?

Southland sadly only did 10 episodes in season 4 but it's still the best on TV.

Re: TV Shows VII: Who gets canceled next?

I didn't mean to suggest that fantasy was the direction that it would go - just that the imagery of the hooded figure with a sword and two armless walkers on chains looked like fantasy in that moment.

As another poster said though - zombie apocalypse = fantasy (in some ways).

It is hard to put them into compartments but I view the show as "real life, if there were zombies roaming around trying to eat you", the character in question appears to be a departure from that premise.

The suspense, for me, is trying to think of what practical things can be done to survive; mythical figures appearing out of the mist opens up the possibility that other situations can be 'solved' via convenient appearances of other beings. If it was Harry Potter I'd expect and buy into it, this was (I thought) supposed to be more in line with the 'reality' angle...but I'll wait to see the explanation.

"The River" series finale, was, well, not what I expected. They may have well faded to black with "Don't Stop Beliving" playing in the background.

Wait, hold on, who was the scary old lady? The one who dumped the milkshake on Raylan, I know, but should I have recognized her from something else?

The character (might as well give you her name: Michonne) is very much real. Not much mystical about her, she's more akin to Daryl than she is to Legolas.

Web redemption was hilarious last night. Can't embed for some reason...

I'll miss Amy Pond, but she is adorable.

You know with the 50th Anniversary coming up do you think it is possible to see the new companion with a fob watch?

Speaking of the 50th how are they gonna incorporate all 11 Doctors into the episode(s)? The earlier Doctors could be difficult.

I think you will see at least the three Doctors from the revived series. (Although, Eccleston is adamant about not being 9 again.) I do see McGann, Davidson, McCoy and Tom Baker showing up.

Certainly left the door wide open for a season two, should they get picked up.

Did Eccleston have that bad a time as The Doctor that he can't come back for the Anniversary episode(s)?

I just had an interesting theory. What if the each episode of next season is based off of one of the previous Doctors and the last episode could incorporate all of the past incarnations? Could be an interesting season.
