BB: What did Gus do in Chile that he was worried about Hank finding out about it? Mike specifically says that he couldn't find anything before 1989, so Gus should be good, because Hank won't find out who he is. The stuff from Chile would have come before the flashback which takes place after Gus gets to Mexico.

SoA: Am I the only one that was fan of Polly!?!

Yeah, not the best place to find reason. The whole kidnapping angle really didn't work as well in season 3 as I'd have hoped. Thankfully, the resolution was good enough that I'm still pretty pumped forthe S4 debut tonight.

As for Polly? Sure she was a looker, but that's all the character had going for her. I think I miss Henry Rollins' character more.

Edit: Biker/Porn Star weddings: at least it's classier than a Juggalo wedding.

I think it still points back to the fact that the cartel wants Walt out of Gus' operation so Gus is a nobody again, by death (which has already failed) or otherwise (the cartel want Walt to work for them, which is specifically my theory). Gus has become rather powerful, in (more probably) less violent sort of way, he has the area market cornered hardcore due to Walt's talent. I mean, if WALT is making $7MM/year, imagine what Gus' operation is making overall.

Mike's point about the possibilities if the cartel and Hank cross roads is a valid one, and I'm starting to wonder (after letting this last episode sink in) if the cartel might actually help Hank out, kind of like how Gus helped Hank avoid being murdered.

There are points there where I feel like you wrote "Hank" and meant to say "Walt". Hank doesn't make $7.7 mil.

Hey, usually we keep it contained to Sunday night during and immediately after. Due to a certain get-together, a couple more vocal fans saw it Monday, hence the extended discussion. So either start watching the series, or get a brush to get the sand out. :p

And obviously you haven't watched the show. And I also agree I have too much to watch, hence me delaying series (like Sons Of Anarchy until other series end).

We just got rid of cable before this half a season started, so we're going back and watching the "new" series from the start. Eccleston really did nothing for me and I stopped watching his episodes, though tcbg really liked him and would have liked to have seen him get another season or two to develop. We're in the middle of the first season of David Tennant and I can see why people liked him so much; he really is great! I've seen most of the episodes of the Matt Smith Doctor, so I find Tennant's relationship with Rose to be odd by comparison to Smith's relationship with Amy Pond. I'm certainly enjoying them though.

And I'd watch Breaking Bad, but it isn't on Watch Instantly on Netflix! :mad:

I managed to get through the end of the Season 3 of SoA, and then watch the Season 4 premier after that last night.

I liked the way they ended season 3 with the whole Jax/Stahl/Jimmy O deal. I won't say anymore than that, since I think there's at least one more that is trying to finish up season 3.

They need to get Unser a bike, he may as well be a member of the club at this point.

The whole Jax saying that he's done with the violence and wanting to get out of that life, then going and killing people the same day schtick is getting a little old. It is pretty obvious that he's never going to be able to walk away from the Sons.

No the new one is Season 4

Season 1 - Mayans/Niners fighting, Abel born, season ends with _______'s death by drive-by
Season 2 - SAMCRO vs. Zobelle and the white supremacists, Abel leaves hospital, season ends with _______'s death and the kidnapping
Season 3 - SAMCRO goes to Ireland, ends with the Jax/Stahl/Jimmy O deal or situation I mentioned earlier

Tennant is based off of his favorite Doctor (#5 played by Peter Davison), which was a more human and emotional Doctor. Smith reminds me a lot of Patrick Troughton's (the Second) Doctor with his scattered-brained madness. He acts more Time Lordish than Tennant. David and Tom Baker are still my favorties, but Smith is rising up the list.

I also agree with tcbg about Eccelston. He needed at least one more year. I do hope he shows up in the 50th anniversary special.

I think EODS mean the new season of The League, and he's right that it's the third, Prezde was just way behind in hearing that it was renewed (which happened back in January).
