Excellent mid-season return of Doctor Who. A lot of questions were answered from the previous episode.

Re: TV Shows 6: Abed and Troy in the Morning! Havvveeee you met Ted's Wife yet?

It can't possibly be Walt, because that would imply that Tuco was WAY more important than we would have ever thought.

BB has always had a tough time when it comes to defining the cartel--possibly intentionally, I suppose. But Tuco's uncle is portrayed as being pretty high up in the cartel--or at least he was before he got his bell's palsy.

That's what I never got though. It seems to me that after Gus killed Juan Bolsa and took a large chunk of territory, the response would have been a little more than a cold war and the cartel picking off a few trucks here and there. Maybe they consider a few murders a cost of doing business, but I would have expected more response.

Everyone seems to think Merkert or Gomez is a mole for Gus. My two predictions for the season were that Skyler is witness to some horrific act of violence related to Walt and that we find out Hank has known or suspected Walt's involvement in meth for much longer than we all thought. I can't decide if last night's ending helps or hurts that theory.

Re: TV Shows 6: Abed and Troy in the Morning! Havvveeee you met Ted's Wife yet?

Hank's questioning of Junior about the car seemed to me to indicate that he does have some suspicions about Walt.

I'm guessing that the "one condition" that Gus has to meet according to the cartel is that Gus must be killed. If Walt and Jesse suceed in killing Gus, like they discussed in last night's episode, I could see Walt and the cartel coming to some kind of working agreement that puts Walt at the head of Gus's operation. This setting up the final confrontation of Walt the Drug Lord vs. Hank the DEA Agent, which will be the final season.

Or hand over Walt, the prized cook of the best meth ever, thereby knocking down Gus' operation quite a bit, if not basically putting it out of business.

Re-watching an episode of Breaking Bad, I noticed: is it always winter in this show? I get that it isn't as hot in Albequerque as you would think, but it's odd to me that everyone is always wearing jackets on that show.

I think I read somewhere that the first four seasons take place over the course of 1 year total (including the current season). But odd observation.

Walt kills Jesse, calling it right now.

Okay, this week the extreme violence warning totally spoiled things. There's five minutes left in the show and we get a flashback scene with five people that we know lived much longer(I guess we don't know about the big guy, but if he died, someone else was too) and Ensign Ricky. His death was alluded to earlier in the episode, but I wouldn't have made that connection on first watch. I think his murder was meant to be shocking, and it really didn't end up that way.

New season of Sons of Anarchy starts tomorrow.

Spoiler alert: Thank ****ing Christ we're finally going to see one without Stahl.

Bill Buckner did it again...thank you Larry David :)

BTW that man has the greatest sense of humor ever!

I completely missed that. I was watching on DVR, so I must have skipped over the warnings. It sure as hell surprised me. During that whole conversation I was thinking that Gus's buddy wound up working for the cartel and became Gus's rival.

I loved the flashback though, it gave some very good history on Gus's relationship with the cartel. It still doesn't answer what the actual demands are that the cartel made to Gus. Also, what is the deal with Gus going to see Hector and Hector not making eye contact or ringing his bell? Is Hector just ****ed about the brothers getting killed, and Gus's hinting about warning call? Or does that have something to do with the demands?

Hector is still pi*ed about the killing of The Twins, and Walt not dying. I think he wants to die because of the condition he is in, and Gus is just messing with him now by letting him know who was behind The Twins situation, and "letting" him live.

Still trying to figure out the cartel ultimatum.

This is what I was thinking, but I have suspicions that it may be something more than that. I don't know if Gus is messing with him, Gus going to "talk" with Hector has to be for some kind of leverage over the cartel.

This season of Doctor Who has to be one of the best in either the old or new series. The last episode was genuinely scary. Those dolls creeped me out. Although my wife may have developed a thing for Matt Smith.

Looking forward to Sons of Anarchy, but I don't think I'll be able to watch the premier tonight. I have 3 episodes left in season 3 to finish up and that disk arrives from Netflix today. I'll be DVRing it to watch in a couple days. I almost got caught up before the new season started, but the last season getting released only a week before the new one screwed me up a bit.

I just finished up Season 2. Thinking I'll finish up 3 in the next two weeks or so.

From what I've seen so far, I think it's a pretty good series. Would still fall behind Justified for me in terms of FX shows, but that's still pretty good. Not in love with how Season 2 ended either.

I don't get BBC America and my computer at home is broken. I have heard nothing but good things about the second half of the season so I'm really looking forward to watching it.

I know. I was mad when Gemma shot the hottie white supremacist too.
