The Whites have more mOney than they know how to launder through the car wash, I think the Ted situation has an easy solution.

Ooh, didn't think of it that way. I thought of it as he tested Jesse's loyalty before Gus handed the reins over, and offed Walt. But your way makes much more sense.

Edit: And my theory holds true. The Cartel wants Gus's action. Just not in the way I thought.

Wow. I really thought Jesse was done for, considering Walt carries a GUN. Guess he forgot this time around.

I have to admit, a little disappointed. Turned into standard alpha male thing, fight it out, we're cool now, sorta. Don't F with me, and I won't F with you. For now.
