I read a quote from the producer that said it is going 5 seasons. So there will be one more after this.

I don't think Mike will off Jesse, at least not yet.

I dunno. He MAY get the "last minute call" from Gus, but I think Jesse is done. Given the fact that he was supposed to die during/after season 1, but it was changed due to fan feedback....I think this is the first step of the endgame.

Edit: If the producer said 5, it will be REALLY interesting on how they do that. This is one show that I don't want to see nuke the fridge.

I dunno. He MAY get the "last minute call" from Gus, but I think Jesse is done. Given the fact that he was supposed to die during/after season 1, but it was changed due to fan feedback....I think this is the first step of the endgame.

just remember how short the seasons are on this show compared to broadcast tv...in other news, I'm finally caught up on Breaking Bad...watched all of season 3 and caught up to present on season 4 yesterday and today.

And remember how fast they can accelerate the story (see: tonight's episode). My only fear is they try to drag it out and fail in quality (relatively) in doing so.

And Foxton: I think we just saw the lighting of the match. Gasoline will be added in the 2-3 episodes before the season (series?) finale.

Still going on, but I'm not huge into Sci-Fi (wasn't even an X-Files fan). If I wasn't watching IPS, I'd be watching The Glades.

Or, you could watch both with a DVR like me! Plus Entourage. And another cheesy Lifetime show. Sundays are really crowded! Thank God Mad Men isn't starting till January 2012.

I guess AMC cut the budgets on The Living Dead and BB (rumored to be because of the money they spent on Mad Men), and no one is happy about it. BB is rumored to be shopping the 5th season around, possibly to FX. Negotiations are still going on, but man, what a score that would be for whoever gets the final season of a big-time show.

I can't see any better network for Breaking Bad than FX (other than HBO or Showtime). The big 4 would milk the show for advertising revenue and at the first sign of lower viewers, move the show around time slots. TNT and TBS don't have the type of audiences to make it a good option plus neither of those networks has a decent lead-in or follow up. I don't think USA would put up enough money (budget wise). Spike...eh same problem as TBS and TNT. FX would be a good match, pair it up with SOA or Justified, run the season straight through like it does now (big 4 won't do that), let them have all the freedom cable tv permits. Done.

By the way, has anyone watched Louie on FX? It just got picked up for a third season and having watched it from the start, I can say it's phenomenal each episode. I think that's old news. The latest I had heard was that BB would have a full fifth season, and then a half season to wrap things up, with the show staying on AMC.

A buddy who is into tv shows/movies (probably a little too much) told me about this on Sunday night, and also read an article in the Mpls Star Trib (which I admit is usually slow on the take in these matters). And if BB jumped networks, it would still be a cable network, given the nature (and desire to not whitewash) the show.
