Mindhunter. ****, that’s good. I’d never heard of Ed Kemper before.

His background is similar to Richard Kuklinski really.

I have, and the actor who portrayed him? Hooboy.

Great show. Revisited The Mayans, bought the new season, anxious to start it later this week.

Jack Ryan Season Two:

Stamper from House of Cards joins (well, the actor). An updated "SUV ambush" scene. Setting is a real time Venezuela political power struggle. Trailer feels straight ripped from Tom Clancy in his prime: a true to life story line that will make those "in the know" wonder how he figured it out.

I'm pumped!

Mayans MC, S2, Ep1.

There's gonna be some blood (gee, surprise!). This will get brought to the table. Worst case, someone will meet the Reaper. Best case, that person will be exiled.

Line from a 1990 MST3K ("The Touch of Satan"):

"I think it's Tony Musante as a kind of hip Satan who solves crimes."

I didn't even know we had MTV in our cable package (we rarely have the TV on if we're not streaming a movie) but I did some channel surfing earlier today and stumbled upon a show called Ridiculousness (I think). Good Lordy I doubt MTV has the exposure to teens it did when I was that age but regardless it's s**t like this doesn't make me ache to return permanently anytime soon. A bit of hyperbole but still.

Re: TV: One Person's Trash...

Did anyone else watch the Dark Crystal:Age of Resistance series on Netflix? I was always a fan of the movie and enjoyed the series quite a bit. Jim Henson Company and others did what I thought was a very good job of combining practical effects of the puppets with CGI. It was nice to learn more about this world and I think Jim Henson would have approved. True to the original movie, the series maintains some dark themes. They have set themselves up for a 2nd season where it should get even darker and sadder. Hopefully Netflix orders it.

Hip Hop Evolution, "season" 3.

Covers the East-West coast beef, Eminem, and the Atlanta scene. This has been a solid series, really enjoyed the depth of it. Gonna say there will be a "season" 4, as they are on the cusp of Lil' Jon/Trillville, Ciara, Missy Elliot, etc.

Netflix streaming, FTR.

Re: TV: One Person's Trash...

Bill Burr has a new special out on Netflix. Per his whole career, pretty raw, and hilarious.

Re: TV: One Person's Trash...

Sunday night, I caught a few episodes of Disenchantment. Slowly, I see reasons to subscribe to Netflix.

Love Netflix. Even if not a tv/movie buff, if you watch about 3 movies a month, it's worth the price. Compare it to rental prices from Amazon, etc....$3/movie or so, at best. I also have disc, same deal, and the big hits are usually only on disc for quite a while.

Re: TV: One Person's Trash...

Netflix sent me email saying they added a show I may like- the i-land. I googled it and holy cow, all reviews say it may be the worst show they’ve ever seen. Not sure I have it in me to hate-watch.

We’re a month away from the Breaking Bad movie. I’ll be watching. Nice filler before return of better call Saul
