Re: TV: Give Me That Remote!

That's the joke!

And I agree with (Brent?) The Americans has absolutely held up through Season 4.

Homeland to me only has only had 1 forgettable season iirc #3.

I was one of the two that mentioned how well The Americans has held up.

Re: TV: Give Me That Remote!

Whoever told you that was drunk or just watches with the sound off so he can look at Kat Dennings. ;)

What's wrong with that?

And The Americans is tremendous. I think that one's going to absolutely blow up this coming season.

What is this 1985? Go on the internet and look at pictures. ;)

Re: TV: Give Me That Remote!

Vikings is a disjointed mess of a show, but I still enjoy it. I even know quite a bit about Norse mythology and legends, so I know where they are taking great liberties with the history. (pretty much always)

I don't know why I like it so much.

Wait... Katheryn Winnick as Lagertha. That's probably it.

Re: TV: Give Me That Remote!

Sherlock.

Season 4.

January 1st.

Hell yeah.

Surprised no one else chimed in on this. Perhaps I'm the only Benedict fanboy here. ;)

Although rumor has it that Moriarty really is dead for good so we won't have the pleasure of seeing him.

Re: TV: Give Me That Remote!

I know too many people that get the vapors over Benedict...pretty much ruined any chance I will watch Sherlock for the time being.

Re: TV: Give Me That Remote!

Don't let fanboys ruin something for you. I haven't started it yet either but it's on my Netflix list.

Re: TV: Give Me That Remote!

Whoa, my on demand is letting me watch the new episode of homeland two weeks before air date! What a nice little present

You have to remember the reason people got the vapors about BC was Sherlock. You should give the first few episodes of S1 a chance. I think it will be impress you; Watson in particular.

Maybe one day...but for now no because if I dare say I like it I will get a ten page thesis about him. I dont feel lost having not watched it yet ;)

Re: TV: Give Me That Remote!

Sherlock is far more than just Cumberbatch. The ensemble cast is very, very good and while he dominates the screen in stretches the show spreads the goods around.
