Now that memories of S3 have long since been erased by two mostly wonderful seasons of redemption I look forward to S6 of Homeland.
Have missed the last season, along with everything else on Showtime. Didn't want to pay for Showtime and HBO. HBO has Thrones and Veep, so can't drop that.
If you get a Hulu membership you can get Showtime streaming. Not sure if it is an extra cost cause I already have access to Showtime but it is worth looking into.
The Veep finale was interesting. Spoilers:
I loved how all the parts of the doc fit in with moments in the prior episodes. The scene on the bleachers after the copter goes down was well done. The evolution of McClintock's baby room was terrific. Kent in the Spanish biker gang was letter perfect.
And Jonah is starting to steal the show.
Not wild about all the stuff with the daughter. She's just a prop to show Selina's self-absorption, no need to make her more.
I don't know how the gang is going to get back to DC, but I really hope it will come back.
Everything I've seen says it is coming back. Don't know what direction it will go, but I have confidence that it will still continue to be great.
Uncle Buck has been canceled. Didn't watch it, commercials for it didn't look any good, not surprised. Even John Candy couldn't make an Uncle Buck TV show work for a full season, not sure why ABC thought they could do it now.
I had never even heard of it until last night.
It's TV-related, anyway.
Not sure where it should really go but if Ailes winds up as Cosby and FNC was really just a way for him to bang fungible blond fembots all these years, what a fitting send-off for movement conservatism.
I posted about this in Nice Planet yesterday as well.
Through season 1 of Shameless. Helluva an entertaining show, and better than I expected. I went in expecting raunchy comedy but the underlying story is much deeper, with plenty of comedy relief on the surface. Like it quite a bit. That Emmy Rossum sure gets naked a bunch...
