Better Call Saul season finale:

Whoa. It delivered without delivering, if that makes sense. A LOT of loose ends tying up in the last season. They have enough on the plate, where they could have ended some things....nope, they are going for the whole enchilada.

Was very good. I didn't realize it was a season finale so I was extra thunderstruck.

Re: TV: A Succession of Watchmen in The Good Place

I wish shows didn’t advertise season finales. And did more of a random number of episodes a season. So every episode is that much more suspenseful.

That works for drama but not sales.

Homeland series finale...wow. Really redeemed itself this last season. Hell of a finish

Re: TV: A Succession of Watchmen in The Good Place

Certainly an interesting twist in the Dispatches from Elsewhere finale

Not sure how I feel about the last Homeland episode. Let me rephrase that. It was a great episode, but the outcome for our love her/hate her protagonist?

I def hated her this episode. Won’t miss seeing her ugly cry face. She’s a great actress but I don’t find her attractive in the least.

Given how she behaved over 8 seasons, she may not even deserve the ending she got

I came to grips with her being an annoying character since they clearly wanted her bi-polarity to play a huge part. However the bolded part is very in line with my thinking especially since:

1. Even if she planned all along for Saul to survive after trying to force his hand, there was at least a 50/50 chance the Russian dudes were not going to let him go especially since he saw their faces.
2. After 8 seasons of making one bad decision after another, she finally pulled off a cockamamie plan and escaped the country?
3. If she really did release a book and not just provide a copy to Saul, uhh hello? And would Saul really smile despite being handed a juicy clue after what she pulled?
4. Even if #3 didn't happen, she and the lover choose to live right out in the open in freaking Moscow after all the things the pulled? And is he now a double-agent helping her or she's stealing secrets right in front of him?

The episode had very good drama and tension, and the writing was very strong. And I'm not even necessarily saying she shouldn't have gotten away, but there were so many fails in executing this outcome that it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Agree with all your hidden points.

Nearly done with season one of Killing Eve, will start Two tonight. Hard to think of a better show in recent times

Jelle's Marble Runs made it to ESPN! Now they just need to get the 2020 season under way.

I found myself watching those the other day. Think I watched almost everything they had on there. I know there are other marble race channels out there but from what little I've seen Jelle's are the most well done.
