WestWorld Season 3 Finale.

Better than I thought it was going to be but not as good as I wanted it to be. Season 4 has been confirmed apparently.

14 episodes into season 6 of The Sopranos (prior to this downtime I hadn’t seen season 4 and missed 1/2 of seasons 5 and 6.)

Now that I’m catching up I can see i’m going to have a different opinion about what transpires in that restaurant.

Where are you on homeland? Are you getting close to 4? That’s the peak.

I’ve seen a lot of reviews online just savaging west world. Common theme is the huge drop off from season one, and bigger drop off for 3. I don’t think I’ll bother continuing.

Season 1 is the peak. Season 2 and Season 3 are all about Delores. However, I would say that they disappointed me with where they went with her. I expected that would be the case though.

I realize I haven't been using Amazon Prime to its full potential. Anything good worth watching on there?

I’m all caught up on Killing Eve.
Hard to think of another show where all 3 main leads are not only women, but alll so incredibly talented and at top of their game

WW S3 finale spoilers:

Dumpster fire would be kind. Everything was terrible. A complete betrayal of S1 and even S2 which was not special. All of S3 was horse poop. Pew pew; terrible writing; hamfisted plot arc; dumb, dumber, and dumbest.

WW will always be S1. The rest didn't happen.

Yeah, it was underwhelming. All shoot em up like a Michael Bay film, with a glossy layer of pseudo-intellectualism spread over the top to make it seem deeper than it was.

Person of Interest did it better.

True. They got it all right for the most part. West World did not. It digressed just like The Matrix films did. Too bad really. I really wanted Delores to continue on her arc. That may not have satisfied Kepler but it would have made me smile.

Is Delores still pontificating all the time? That’s one of the things that bugged me in season two.

One of the greatest shows of all time. I need to rewatch this.

Person of Interest had one of the best concepts of all time. But they didn’t make it a serial and instead made it a “Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V” standard network series. I couldn’t watch after about a season.

I just can’t stand those shows anymore.

I have always hated tv shows or movies that contain martial arts battle scenes that involve 30 seconds of intense battle, then the combatants take a 30 second break while one of them spews out a nonsensical soliloquy that is supposed to explain the plot, then rinse and repeat. WW3 is replete with examples of that.
