Meh. That show has fallen off. The way they breezed over the Cali Cartels was awful...

I miss Pablo Escobar...on the show ;)

Yes and no. I will see what it's like going forward.

Getting caught up on Last Chance U...good lord Independence Community College is a **bleep** show! The only people worse than the coach are his players. I am in Season 3 and you can see if they start losing there could be a war at that school

Homeland final season premiere. Not too bad, actually. Back to Afghanistan/Pakistan apparently so hopefully finishes on a decent note after some stinker seasons in the middle

Been watching The Outsider on HBO, based on the Steven King book.

First couple episodes, I was like, wow, this is a pretty intense drama/crime procedural, props for King for stepping beyond his usual forte. Next couple of episodes, yep, here it comes, the supernatural and mystical. But its been pretty compelling so far. Cynthia Erivo has been great.

She is fantastic. Should be up for an Emmy next with this performance.

3 eps into S2 of Narcos:Mexico

They are making the moving parts MOVE. Every cog in motion, a little chaotic at times in the way they are telling it, but, that IS how this whole business works...will be interested to see how they go forward with it. A nice character drop-in, to add to one from last season, and they both are in the continuation of the true story...I liked that.

Just finished 3-part UK series called Manhunt about a true life investigation into the murder of a French girl in a small park in London. The investigation leads to the possibility the perp had committed 3 other similar crimes and the race was on. It was very well done.

Narcos Mexico S2:
Well, that sure finished strong. Hope they renew the series. If one knows the true story, then one recognizes some characters that are in place for that next chapter. :)

Saw the "underwater city epoch" silent episode of Bojack Horseman tonight. That show is so good.

Undone

Undone

I do not recall any mention of this in here, but the series “Undone” on Amazon Prime Video caught my eye recently, so I decided to give it a shot. Only through episode 3 (of 9) so I cannot vouch for it completely yet, but this is quite an intriguing show, worthy of consideration for fans of Sci-Fi plots. Episode 1 was a bit “slow”, but it does set-up the following episodes quite well which are much more involved. Glad I kept going (so far)!

Trying not to give-away too much with this, but the story revolves around a woman who acquires a “new relationship with time” after getting into a car accident. Kind-of fits into a theory of 'mine' that upon death we assume full-control of a fourth dimension (time). So far (thru episode 3), she is struggling to gain control of this ability, having “one foot stuck in a linear time reality, and one foot in a non-linear time existence”.

The animated series is shot entirely using rotoscope technique, which took a bit to used to, but ultimately allows for ease on some of the effects (and lower cost, no doubt). With some of the timeline disturbance, one must watch closely to “keep-up” and make sense of the inherent chaos resulting from the shifting timeline(s), but it all seems to come-together eventually.

Looking forward to episodes 4-9.

Cheers!!!

Made it through E2 of The Outsider. I had a feeling early on that at least one person involved in The Night Of was also involved and it's the same creator. We've enjoyed it so far, but I hope what I think is coming doesn't ruin it for me.
