Worst-Case Scenario with Bear Grylls is fairly entertaining. The first two episodes aired on Wednesday. The "Making of" section is definitely worth watching.

That was a funny SNL. Amused to see them do another census taker sketch though it didn't really top the one with Walken.

Well, I missed the first 20 minutes of Breaking Bad. I'm hoping that makes up for the rest of the episode. It was good but hard to follow up an episode like last week's.

Is anyone watching The Pacific? If you aren't I highly recommend it, very gritty mini series about WWII in the Pacific...very well done.

Same people that did Band of Brothers I am pretty sure. I am looking forward to getting it and seeing it.

Yep Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg produced it and put it all together. They said next they want to do one for Korea...as a history buff I love this because even though I had relatives that fought in the Pacific I know very little about it and this covers a lot of the battles you dont hear about.

Indeed. My maternal grandfather was in the Philippines as a guard for a POW camp. Paternal grandfather was in the merchant marines, now part of the Navy, as a radio operator. Even though he was in the Atlantic, he spent more time in the Pacific between LA, Pearl, and Australia.

That's what I have been hearing/reading. Honestly, I was interested in it in the first place, but missed the first half season or so, so I was at the point of just waiting it out, and finding out if it was worth seeing the whole series, or not bothering (and not getting disappointed).

Looks like it's the former.
