TV 20 - Sorry no fancy title

the cinematography in the latest episode of Pluribus was incredible.

the episode "I won. Zoom In" of the Chair Company was hilarious. Obv not for anyone who doesn't get the humor of ITYSL

I just finished ITYSL last night. I had read somewhere there were five seasons, so that was highly disappointing when the “how did you like this show?” screen showed up after the S3 finale.

Does The Chair Company have an actual plot, or is it another sketch show?

plot - no sketches. Highest debut comedy on HBO ever I believe, and now renewed for season 2

I think of the network airing the episodes out of order.

Never allow the business monkeys to make decisions that have consequences for humans.

Bowen Yang will leave SNL after this week's episode, but given it will have Ariana Grande and Cher I'm assuming he will explode into a being of pure energy.

Oh my god stop giving her up-tempo songs.

Yeah, the juxtaposition between tempo and energy level was distracting.

Also distracting, the guitar being VERY at the front of the mix. (For Run, Run Rudolph) Vocals sounded like they were being yelled down a hallway. It struck me as odd because in no way am I expecting Cher to actually be singing.

FYI - Chuck Berry was only 20 years older than Cher.

They are talking about Cher on SNL last night. She was a figure of deep pathos. Like Hannibal Lector, they just wheel her around on a gurney. She can't move (she's 80) and she can't sing anymore (they auto-tuned her out). It was embarrassing and how does she not have so much money she doesn't have to humiliate herself like this?

Ariana Grande also cannot sing, she was obviously overproduced in her day. However, she was great in her skits. She has a genuine comic timing gift and that is no mean feat.

The Bowen Goodbye made me tear up. I'm glad they let him sing out with two inferior singers to make him seem better. I'll miss him and cannot wait until he hosts.

Marcello won't be there in 2 years. He's the most talented cast member that has hit SNL in 20 years. Yes, including her. And her.
