TV 20 - Sorry no fancy title

Since S2 has been released I finally got around to trying out Andor.

S1E1 was quite good so I will definitely keep it going, although there's already been some usage of SW universe cliches to some slight annoyance. Andor's got a bit of Solo in him, there's a buddy droid, we've seen bad guys in a bar, etc. I'll get over it and as long as Adria Arjona continues to get screen time I'll remain interested.

The fact that so many MAGAts see Star Wars - and the new season of Andor in particular - as an attack on them is awfully telling. The Empire has always represented Fascism. The parallels are not meant to be subtle.

That meeting about Ghorman we saw last night was essentially a condensed version of the Wannsee Conference. (If you haven't already, go watch Conspiracy on HBO.)
Yes! The fact maga-heads complain about Andor should be cause for the them to actually, I don’t know, re-assess themselves and their positions? But no, instead they’ll complain about a tv show that is very clearly depicting the rise (and later fall) of fascism…and does so with great writing, dialogue and acting btw… because I guess they adore palpatine???,…err Trump.

I'm browsing through the dvr library and I see Fargo?! and it's almost expired(ready to be deleted).Turns out it was season 5 that I started taping in Nov '23 and a coupla days later had the slip and fall in work and forgot all about it.
Binged 5 eps yesterday and the other 5 today. Really liked it alot. Juno Temple was a treat, Jennifer Jason Leigh was a 1st class c
,uhhh bitch, and it was the first time I'd watched Jon Hamm in anything. The "man in the dress with a haircut like the 3 Stooges" was quite a character.
