TV 20 - Sorry no fancy title

WWS1 is still my favorite TV season of any season that's ever aired or streamed. Apparently it was so good it needed to end after one season. I may have to rewatch that season someday.

I am not 100% sure if it's my #1, but if it's not it's a knock-down dragout fight with something else. Broadchurch S1 is in the running, S3 of The Wire, S6 of The Americans, S1 of Homeland, S1 of Killing Eve, S1 of Mindhunter...

And even after typing that my list is probably very short-sighted and missing others. :)

It would be curious to debate the greatest final season of any series that had an actual ending, as in obviously a series that wasn't cut short for one reason or another.

America Primeval. Good first episode. Lots of ultraviolence for the derps, but also good writing for the humans.

The LDS must be going apesh-t.

They've done a slightly better job of acknowledging their culpability for Mountain Meadows in the last 25 years, but would still prefer if we all just forgot about it.

I assume they're doing this story because Yellowstone has made oaty suds and family-vs-gubmint stories popular with crunchy cons again. The LDS church is both a safe and worthy punching bag, so portraying BY as a poorly educated hayseed (which is half true) won't ruffle too many feathers.

Two scenes from TV popped up while scrolling around today that I never skip and always watch a few times because they make me laugh so much:

New Boot Goofin' (Reno 911)

Hello Mr Burns' office.
Is it about my cube?

Almost done with Veep. It had a couple good seasons but the post election ones have really not been good. I'm a bit surprised this show got the accolades it did.

Senator Furlong is my one-liner spirit animal. Ben Cafferty had some legendary lines as well. But overall I found the characters to be quite repulsive and unfunny.

To be honest, I think it hits different now. It was funnier when it wasn’t quite real

Dumber Than Jonah would be a good name for a band.

OH MY FUCKING GOD. Youre all going to enjoy this for several reasons.

You know that "Ryan declares war on Muslim math" meme? I always thought that was an SNL sketch making fun of Paul Ryan.

I finally got to that point in the series. Lmao.

I used to post that picture all of the time...mainly because I assumed at some point the GOP would get there. I think one of them did...
