Looking forward to starting A Gentleman in Moscow with Ewan McGregor. I hope it has the charm and intrigue of the novel.
This week's episode of shogun had one of the most satisfying endings of an episode since the first few seasons of Game of Thrones.

The new Ripley series with Andrew Scott just dropped on Netflix and seems to get universal good reviews. Looking forward to giving it a try

The pilot episode was very good, and McGregor is excellent.

ironically my favorite thing he’s done is probably the long way round, where he is just himself riding his bike across the globe
I need to see that.
Not sure if the ESPN thread still exists- but it's REALLY interesting that the NCAA BB final 4 semi's are all on cable, but you can see a regular season UFL game over the air on ABC right now.
I was wondering about that! That Final Four was one of CBS Sports' crown jewels. Why on earth were the semis not on network TV?
Ever since they partnered with Turner for broadcasting a decade or so back, TBS and TNT have had turns carrying the Final Four.
I don't like it, but then I'm still wearing an onion on my belt, as was the style at the time.
