Gomorrah - Italian mob drama. 5 seasons in so far available on Sky but I think it's more readily available in the US now
Ragdoll - UK drama (brand new) 2 eps so far. Cop tries to redeem himself chasing a killer that left a "ragdoll" of mixed human parts from 5 different victims
Tacoma FC - comedy with some of the guys from Super Troopers. 3 seasons I think so far
Mayor of Kingstown - just released series starring Jeremy Remmer

SJ - I am not sure on the availability of Mayor in the U.S. I just know I have it here.

Gomorrah is on HBOMax
Tacoma FD is on HBOMax
Mayor of Kingstown is on Paramount+

Not sure about Ragdoll.

Succession last night was a ride.

tiny wu tang!

Oh Kendall.

The thing I love about the show is how the rich characters are almost all incompetent. They have no real abilities. They sling jargon they barely understand. They plot and make moves that are patently absurd with confidence that is entirely unwarranted. They have no idea of their ineptitude because they are only surrounded by their own ilk. And through it all it's pure sycophancy and boot licking and the mewling obedience to money which they mistake for respect.

I've known some of these families personally, grew up near them, been in their homes and at their parties, and this is a dispassionately fair presentation of them.

If enough people watched this show, the ultra-wealthy would be hanging from lamp posts, and that is healthy.

Oh boy.

shiv just pinned the queen and the rook with her knight. One of them dies. Fuck, Roman....

also, I'm really worried about Tom's mental health.
And that fade to black with Ken was very disturbing. Felt like he was trying to relive what that kid went through. Not good.

guess we see what happens next. Interesting this is the second season ending with a wedding.

The last few episodes have just not let up. Seeing these people put each other through the wood chipper is cathartic since I wish eternal torture on their class, but it's emotionally exhausting.

My wife and I held each other tight after the Shiv/Tom scene.

Yeah, that part was AWFUL watching it with my wife. It was so disturbing and... I don't know what word I'm trying to find but it wasn't good. I've been squirming since the wedding night episode every time those two talk about their relationship.

It was one of the best-acted scenes of this season and that's a high bar. They captured it perfectly.

You reap what you sow, Tom.

While I'm not caught up, I can tell when something's color has been changed enough to make it almost unreadable that it's spoilers I should avoid. So it's fine.
