In light of subsequent developments this was prescient.

In passing: this was a really good skit concept, and the people doing the characters are very good (Cooper is GREAT), the writing just totally sucked. It's almost always the other way: great writing let down by crappy performances.

I think this was a huge missed opportunity and could have been a fantastic bit.

The crown season 4- I know some of this is pure fiction but man, Margaret thatcher seems like a real CUNext Tuesday.

That’s because she was.
Thatcher was irredeemable CUNextTuesday. The media portrayals have gone a long way clean up her image and her legacy. She's looked upon very similar to Reagan, sunshine and happiness at first glance by people (and especially the media), but dig under the surface and you find a massive rot of unemployment and suffering.

Tis the season, and this is still one of my favorite scenes from West Wing. It's the little things like this that made the show.

Just like Reagan.

Not sure if anyone has been watching The Reagans on Showtime, but there is a jaw dropping moment at the end of episode two. The episode ends with Reagan’s landslide win in 1980. Walter Cronkite asks a group of CBS commentators in the studio, “who leads the progressive counter revolution?” There is some shouting of ideas, and then a very young Jeff Greenfield says, “Joe Biden, progressive junior Senator from Delaware.” Cronkite just belly laughs and says, “well, alright then.”

Tried watching How To with John Wilson.

I can’t tell if it’s as stupid as it seems or has some sort of brilliantly weaved joke. I’m leaning towards the former.
