Didn't figure her as the first VDer to go.

The Last of Us - that was a great and unexpected episode. Really, the whole plot was such a good story, and shot so well. Every setup that made me think X could happen had a much better payoff than I expected at the start of the show.

I finally finished the limited series, The Boys in Blue, about the Minneapolis North H.S Polar football team, and their coaching staff, consisting of Minneapolis P.D. officers. I thought the series was really well done.

Meanwhile, Linda Ronstadt will be sitting at home later this month, and she'll open up her monthly royalty check, and she'll be like W T F???

Just finished TLoU. Wow.

I was not expecting that kind of side story... Like, at all. But they nailed it. I'm glad they took a look down a path that the game chose to neglect.

A+

I just went back and watched the initial episode of TLOU. Spoilers...

When they wheeled that kid into the QZ and did the test I missed that it came back red, showing that they were already infected. So it didn't register that it was the same kid Joel removes from the back of the truck and drops in the fire. Brutal.

Last night's episode was a masterpiece. If you have a chance to listen to the podcast that accompanies the series (available on HBO Max as well as Spotify, iTunes etc) you get even more about how the episode was cast and shot. Just some fantastic work all around.

I never played either TLoU game but I'm absolutely loving the show. This episode was an unexpected tour de force. Brilliant on all aspects - writing, acting, cinematography, and we got to see the completely undiscovered mountains of New Bedford Massachusetts, which, apparently, moved from where it is to 10 miles west of Boston.

Anyway, in addition to knowing that ... many people will be completely grossed out by the story this episode, it was incredibly well done. I'm loving the overall story but I was genuinely sad when they brought Joel back, knowing that this individual story would be wrapping. And then ...

Wow. All I can say. Give me more please.

Just finished episode three of The Last of Us. Whoa. Great work. Nick Offerman and Murray Bartlett, bravo.

I was trying to figure out where I had seen them before. Bill was in Pam & Tommy and The Good Place; Frank was in Flight of the Conchords.

That episode had Emmy Bait written all over it.
