Pose on Netflix. Wandered into the gf's room after work(been working from home since mid March so it's a short trip)and sat down and started watching it and didn't leave until 3 hours later. Was hooked.

The King: Eternal Monarch.

Holy cats, I just saw Nightwatch crossed with Big Trouble in Little China crossed with T. J. Hooker crossed with Midnight Gospel, in Korean. Spectacular pilot. Incredibly surreal.

I started watching The Vow, the limited documentary series on the sex cult/pyramid scheme started by Keith Raniere in the Albany, NY, area. It's an HBO show.

To this point (I think the show is halfway through?) I'd describe it as ok. It's not a ringing endorsement, in part because I think they could have condensed it. However, one of the great features of the show is how much video and audio recording they have of the participants.

I can't say that I'd recommend it, but if you have an interest in the sort of mind control used by guys like Raniere or David Koresh, you might find it interesting.

Just watched episode 1 of The Third Day on hbo with Jude law.

very interesting- kind of a wicker man vibe

I watched episode one of Lovecraft Country and I am a fan of the characters, actors and writing but another The Outsider or Stranger Things type series? Ugh.

I've only watched the first 3 episodes and am underwhelmed.

It is beautifully filmed, though. My god. But for what they are trying to do I think they went way, way overboard on the weirdness and did not pay enough attention in building a good story. The characters are excellent and the acting is superb, but the plotting and story development just don't carry the ball.

I will stick with it because it is such a perfect and timely idea, though.

Schitts creek starts hot with both Catherine O’Hara and Eugene levy winning best actress/actor in a comedy series.
