I get that Discovery Channel is not about education and hasn't been for a while now... But I guess they have a show dedicated to having a guy being eaten alive by a snake coming up in December.... I will admit that I'm dumb enough to watch this whole Skyscraper Live thing just on the off chance that we have a SPLAT....

This is the show that they showed a commercial for during the high-wire walk last night... Not sure why the page is dead now, but I swear it aired.... The premise of the show seemed to be that a guy was going to feed himself to an Anaconda while wearing an armored suit... The suit looked similar to the Grizzly Bear suit that was making the rounds on a Discovery/NatGeo show several years ago... Google isn't turning much up on this... It's making me think that it wasn't supposed to air maybe?

The show was supposed to premiere Dec. 7th... I have no clue what this "research" wants to show, and I have no idea how the hell they can do this without killing the animal... So I don't know... It really was a "Whisky Tango Foxtrot" moment from the start...

Is anybody watching Madam Secretary? It's nowhere near hyper partisan (2 years of 1 hour a week of Hillary Clinton ads? Really?) as it was labeled by people who probably never saw it. Tia Leoni is good in the part, and Ms. Sternon Crane is great.

Is anybody watching Madam Secretary? It's nowhere near hyper partisan (2 years of 1 hour a week of Hillary Clinton ads? Really?) as it was labeled by people who probably never saw it. Tia Leoni is good in the part, and Ms. Sternon Crane is great.

It's good enough, still watching. It helps it's a time slot with stuff before and after but no competition, so it fits in the schedule easily.

I am. I like it. Tea Leoni is actually quite good in this role. Typical CBS procedural but it's working for me. I belive it got a full season pick up.

Oh good - thanks for that! I was actuallyt hinking about this show on Sunday and was going to look to see if I missed a report that it got cancelled. Glad they're going to finish it off and just not have it never come back.

Not watching it, but I have to say, Tea Leoni is aging quite well.

Besides the obvious conclusion to the Red John story, The Mentalist really blew it with that reboot with Jane and the team working with the Feds. Just lost all interest in it.
