"Unintentional coincidence"... yeah right.

I don't really know the history...this is really a thing? I mean, I'd think it's totally coincidental.
Edit: as far as purposely choosing that plate, etc. I know about the actual war.
And given Clarkson's history of... well, at best you'd call it xenophobia... it's almost assuredly on purpose.
Watched the first two of Gotham tonight with the boy and we both liked them.
The Penguin is very well cast and played.
Last night's SNL was actually pretty funny, except it seemed like it was completely rehearsed. Lots of flubs.
It was a solid improvement.
Anyone watch Gracepoint? I'm curious how closely it followed Broadchurch, which it was based on, with the first episode written by Broadchurch(and thus Gracepoint) creator Chris Chibnall.

I saw Mulaney tonight. It pretty well sucked. The lead, John Mulaney, delivers his lines about as well as I could.
Well, you've been warned. It was horrible. They even had support characters mugging for the camera.Didn't get to see it but that's pretty much what I gathered from the previews. A Seinfeld-esque reboot with a lead that has even worse acting skills than Seinfeld. I'm willing to give it a shot though, because Mulaney is one of my favorite comedians, and Seinfeld started slow too.

i heard him on some other show talking about the ice-t bit. They originally wanted him to say mulaney was shot in front of a live studio audio in his best SVU voice over but that got scrapped. It was pretty bad. It basically was a live action retelling of some of his jokes, but delivered terribly and with no real timing. Ice-T saying it's filmed in front of a live studio audience was a great touch though. But shows filmed in front of live studio audiences are so weird to watch these days.

I was about to ask if there are even that many shows filmed in front of a studio audience, because it seems like Two and a Half Men and Big Bang Theory would make it obsolete with the laugh track they throw on there, but apparently those are filmed in front of an audience. Which now makes me sad that real people are laughing at it.
