You can rip on me all you want but I could never figure out why people put the "t" in front of UMD. I know the "t" means THE but why put it there?

Great call Skeets! Sounds like he broke loose tonight, great to see the kid get his first two goals. For anyone there or watching, what was going on with Lee? Was it just a mental lapse that let in the 2nd goal? He's young but those mistakes in a conference game can't happen, period. Gaudet had an assist but sounded like he was really struggling to start the game. Seemed to play much better the rest of the way, glad he's getting his chance. Festler is really stepping up this year, sounded like he was on fire out there.

Connolly's and Fontaine sound to be a threat every time they're out there. From listening to Lyons it sounded like a good game but would like to hear opinions from people that were there. If the Huskies want to be toward the top of the conference they need to come out tomorrow night and get the win at home.

Lee or Dunn tomorrow?

Did shepperd and anderson have money on the game? Apparently you can't check in mens hockey anymore.

To FHG or Cardinal, do you have the "dive earl dive" flag still? I would like to put Dive Lasch and Roe on it. Talk about 2 soft players who flop at every chance.

Few thoughts from tonight.

Barta Still Sucks!!!! It's bad enough he is the line up, but on the power play!:mad:

Mike Lee flat our stunk tonight! The hsukies played well enough to win and he blew it.

The Huskies dominated the third period and finally looked like the team I think they should be.

I told everybody the Class A line rocks!:D

Why did the ref 100 feet away call every penalty all night?

The last two UMD goals were as soft as you can give up. The first one was was a nice shot, but it was stopable. I don't know how you don't play Dunn tomorrow night. Then again I have no idea how Barta can be in the line up every night. He was by far the worst player on the ice for either team and that says a lot because Lee stunk.....

Well it was good to be back at the concrete center tonight . . . Feels like home!

VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE TURNOUT :mad: There were lots and I mean lots of empty seats tonight. Where was everyone?? I wonder if mediocre teams the last few years combined with economic issues has caught up with this program.

I was to rip on M.K. here but it is too early in the season for that just yet, need to save some of my bullets for later in the year.

We had fall break this weekend so we have been off thurs. and fri., so a lot of students went home for the 4 day weekend. And the brilliance that is scsu res life, closed down all of the dorms but 2 or 3, so all of those kids didn't have a chance. I was expecting the student sections to be empty and full of non regular fans/kids who don't even know hockey. As for the general fans they sat on their hands the entire game, and they really sucked the life out of the student section.

HEY! Startthebus, our starting goalie is Brady Hjelle. Alex Stalock went pro and is playing for the San Jose Sharks AHL affiliate.

I hope this clears up some confusion.

You being on kiss cam really made my night.

Also SCSU is in last place because up to date you have played ONE WCHA game. Prior to contrary belief Union and Miami are non-confrence opponents. So even if you took only tied and won from four games, all that really counts in the WCHA rankings is...nothing.

Also NHC is so loud! ...because you have loud speakers. Way to go. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!


Also I hope Shep and the boys make up for the calls tonight on Saturday. :rolleyes: DIVE LASCH DIVE!

My thoughts:

- Huskies did play well enough to win but KY outplayed Mike Lee. Hands down.

- I'm not saying the guy is a superstar, but I thought the Dane looked good. If he can get just a little accuracy on that cannon of his, look out. Plus he looks a lot more comfortable with the puck. He made a couple mistakes but looks tons better than last year.

- The refs sucked. Maybe both teams should come out with skirts on tonight since the refs seem determined to turn this into women's hockey...

- Yes, the class A line was outstanding all night long!

Looking over the WCHA results last night, 10 league points were up for grabs, only three were taken by the home team. How often does that happen?
